~*~*~*~*The 'official 08 wedding' Weight watchers thread~*~*~*~*

Original post by jsta76

OK so since you guys mentioned it, i'm starting it.

I've been on WW for about 4 weeks now. I've lost a total of 6.4 lbs. I have a LONG way to go but for the first time I'm totally motivated to do this. In the past I haven't been in the right mindset and i'm not letting the wedding affect that. I plan to continue after .

The new statement they've been using in our meeting is:

'If you always do what you always did, you'll always get what you always got.'

The more I think about it, the more its true.

Keep up the great work ladies!!!!

I used to do the online. Keeping track of points is so easy that way! Since I am poor I am trying to count points on my own (I have all the books and stuff from previous WW membership.) starting today!

i got the monthly pass which is $39/mth I go to meetings and gives you access to online....It's TOTALLY amazing. I find it easier to keep track of points as well. Plus their recipe builder rocks.

Wow that is a good deal. Maybe I should go to the meetings. Anyone want to go to Ronkonkoma WW with me?

I joined with another LIW'er l in Patchogue if that's not too far. I know somone else mentioned they went to Ronkonkoma in a post from BHB.

I have been counting points at home using my point finder and books from last year for the past week and I have lost 4 lbs. Now that I know about this monthly pass, I think I might join at the Ronkonkoma WW because from past experience, the meetings DO help!

Check out the first page of this thread. Apparently it is $39 for the month and you get to use the online stuff also. That is a pretty good deal!

What is really funny is back when I was counting points hardcore, I would have weeks where I thought for sure i didn't lose anything because I had been 'bad' but they were always the weeks that I had the biggest loss! Don't worry I'm sure you lost something.

I have been on WW for the past couple months. I lost almost 20 lbs but I haven't had a change in the past 2 months. I really need to get my rear end in gear! I am going to be a BM in 45 days!!

I need to cut the nonsense and get back on track!!

Over on the WW boards, they used to talk about the Wendie plan for when you were in a weight loss rut.

Where we guys a month ago when I joined? LOL, J/K.

I'm in Holtsville. As I mentioned I go in Patchogue off of sunrise either Tues/Wed nights depending on FH's schedule.

If you guys ever want a walking buddy or need motivation, feel free to let me know. Going to meetings is one thing but I need to be more active. I think the buddy system is a great way to go.
