Hey can I crash your thread?? I'm going to book with Maryann this Saturday for July 30, 2010. I'm so excited! Everything I'm reading on the boards is AMAZING! Does anyone have any pointers for our meeting on Saturday?????

Of course you can crash! I talked to Maryann on the phone once- I think she is fairly new. The only pointers I can give you is research the pricing. Look on here and see what people were quoted. Then from there, have Maryann 'sell' you the NRC and when she talks to you about pricing, have her say it first. If it's a little higher, say 'I know of people that were quoted this price.' They will probably be more than willing to work with you. Also, ask for extras. Look at all the enhancements and see what you want. Ask them if they are willing to throw this that and the other thing in. You have nothing to lose!

Oh yeah def ask for the extras. We got so much thrown in it was crazy. We were showing alot of interest in the candy bar and the chocolate fountain and Nadine gave one to us for FREE!!! Just ask a ton of questions and they will work with what you want. They are great there.

Did you get the viennese or a mini one? I am just wondering because the viennese I thought included this. I just want to make sure I am understanding this correctly.

Here are some extras that may be of interest to you:

-Viennese or touch of viennese.
-Seafood boat- with or without lobster.
-Upgraded linens. I am not sure what this entails but I do know they have them.
-Some menu options- Rack of lamb, surf and turf and chilean sea bass are extras.

My mind just went blank. If I am missing anything, let me know. We should make a list of the extras NRC provides.

The viennese was more money and had alot of stuff we werent looking for. We only wanted the candy bar and the chocolate fountains so Nadine worked out a good deal for us. Does anyone remember what gets served with the chocolate fountain?

Hey ladies, random question and I know I'm still really early for this but would any of you know when we do teh cake tasting/picking the cake design? Someone asked me about our kind of cake we were going to look into and I realized I had no idea when to do that.

You pick the cake flavor/designs when you meet with them to pick out your menu. My weddings in 3 months and I still have not picked out the cake or menu lol

No the food tasting is done way in advance and you pick your menu/cake out like a month or two before the wedding itself. Mine should be coming up soon!!

Okay girls! I just got a call from Nadine. Foodtasting is set to go on at 5PM on September 10th. This is on a Weds. We are on the list! Who's going to be there?

Good question! I don't know why the do it so early. I think they have 7PM tastings sometimes.
