Hey!

Doing good. The planning is coming along. I have to admit me and FH were slacking off a bit (FH thinks we have SOOOOOOO time to plan things) but now everything seems to be falling into place. How about you?


I am pretty much all set. I have to contact Nadine and ask about the lighting there and I have other questions for her.

Does anyone know about NRC lighting? Do they do fancy lighting or suggest any outside companies?

I have no idea when the next tasting is. As for table layout- what do you mean by that?

you get the table layout when you go to finalize your menu/details about a month before your wedding.

NRC is absolutely AMAZING. we still have guests calling to tell us that it was the best wedding they've been to and they've never seen/tasted more food in their life lol

The layout depends on how many people you are having. For example, for 300, they'd probably use rectangular tables! I'm sure they will set it up however you want.

As far as lighting, i know the main light in the tray ceiling can be made to look like bright day light, dimmed, or off. They will do whatever you want. I'm not interested in additional lighting!

Yup!! that cake was done by them, but the flowers were done by my florist. We had whipped cream, marble cake with chocolate mousse. I didnt get a chance to have any but people lovedddd it. They did a great job.

Hey girls -- just letting you know my proofs are back (posted them on the 08 board) and we did all of our pictures on site at NRC. They have a lot of great areas to do pictures and you can get a lot of different looks there

Something I didn't notice at the time but liked in our proofs were the pictures DH and I took in front of the white picket fence -- they look all traditional and domestic and I thought they were cute
