Okay girls. I spoke to Maryann about the viennese hour. She said you don't get an extra hour. The viennese is set up in the cocktail hour room and people flow back and forth into there and the dining room. So my reception will be from 8-12.
do you know if they keep the tables and chairs set up from CH in there during the desert cafe? Bc I would rather not give people an option of sitting in there, I want to force people back into the party

Yes, I believe they DO leave the room as is. I don't think people will stay in there. Everytime I have gone to a viennese, people flow back and forth.

Yes, they do provide the place cards. And with that mentioned, they also have coordinating menus as well.
Okay, I'm a little confused! We have the Viennese hour and our reception in total is 6 hours! A regular party is 5 hours, adding on the Viennese hour would make it 6! So, tell Maryann she is WAY off! Oh, and thanks for the note about the seating cards! So..I'm assuming they're plain white? And we can go there and pick them up and fill them out ourselves? I'm a litte slow, sorry!

As far as the Viennese hour, leaving the table and the chairs in the room was a concern for me. I spoke with Nadine and she told me that they could take the chairs out, this way your guests didn't stay in there. Its an option.

I'm at the Melville Marriott! I was very happy with their customer service over the Hilton. I'm getting ready there, and we are having brunch the next day as well.

I believe the Melville Marriot is right off the LIE about 5 minutes from the Seaford/Oyster Bay.

As for the place cards, they are printed.
They don't print the place cards for you, they do give you a stack of nice ones. I was going to print the names on them myself, but I think my Mom is just going to hand write them.

It's not far at all! I think we have 50 rooms blocked, plus a suite for me to get ready in and for the wedding night. We're providing shuttle service to and from the hotel to NRC.
