SOOOOOO JEALOUS! I wanted to go so badly but FH still thinks it's just 'too early.' Grrrrrr.

Please let us know how it goes!!! Even though the consensus is that the food is great ... I still like to live vicariously through everyone else!

Yup, it's 5:30...Fiance works crazy hours and has absolutely NO chance of getting there by 5:30 (besides the fact that we live in Queens and he works in the Bronx!!) So I'll be the girl with no fiancee! But I am bringing along my Dad & Stepmom and his parents! His parents have never seen NRC, so I'm pumped for them to see it for the first time! I was actually there today, too seeing some florists with my sister and brought her there! She's my best friend, since she saw it it really feels REAL!! It somehow becomes more and more beautiful each and everytime I see it! im not sure how that happens! I'm SO excited to go back tomorrow! So, look for the girl whose single for the night! Can'twait!

my wedding is after you and we went to the january one! its never too early! your just trying food not picking your choices...nothing is ever to early..i think its a guy thing...just like FH keeps saying OUR WEDDING IS IN A YEAR..i am like umm less then 9 months hunney..haha i joke and say that the night before our wedding fh will be like OUR WEDDING IS A YEAR AWAY

They do have different linen colors! A lot of them! I stopped in one day to make a payment and asked Nadine the same question! She showed me ALL of the linen options! Def. go in and take a look when you can!

i dont think so...she said we have a choice and linens are included...except for chair covers..those are a charge if u want them

Our wedding is late September and we went to the tasting last night!!! OMG it was SO good. Someone else mentioned the salmon - it melts in your mouth! I hope I get to enjoy some of this food during my wedding lol.

And yes they have different color linens, it's not an extra charge.

As for the bar in the cocktail room, they only set it up in there if they can't set up the one in the garden... I can imagine it looks less than ideal for it to be on a table though.

Does anyone have any unusual cake requests for NRC? I requested red velvet, and apparently that's unusual because they hardly ever do it... I am actually going to bring them a recipe next time we go!

They do very basic cakes. Yellow, chocolate, or marble cake with only a handful of fillings.
Mine was marble cake w/chocolate mousse. DELISH!

you guys wont be disappointed. I'm still getting rave reviews from my guests. They've never had better food!
