I've been meaning to post here, our wedding was magical! George and Monica were really fabulous and everything went off soooo smoothly, it was like clockwork! I can't wait to do a full detailed review!
We did pics on the staircase and in front! Honestly, we just enjoyed ourselves once we got there and didn't do many more formal portraits.
As for the table bar in CH, i have a picture of it from a friend, and i didn't think it was that bad. I have to find it and post! I don't think it looks out of place.
Also, while everything really went off perfectly, there are a few things i would like to bring up, just for you girls to be aware of (i do NOT want to sound bad, because it really was a wonderful night, i just want you to know):
1. We opted for Pumpkin Ravioli instead of the Pasta with Veggies because it sounded so good. I don't know if it was an off night or what, but they were awful. I couldn't eat them, and everyone that i've talked to that had it hated them.
2. We thought we pre-tipped the bartenders, but they still put tip glasses out. I only realized this when i saw pics from friends and noticed the glasses with money in them! Maybe people kept tipping them anyway and it got out of hand, maybe the coordinator didn't tip them until the end...i'm not sure!
3. The servers did not come around to offer our guests seconds (that i've been made aware of yet, and i've asked around). I guess this bothered me more after finding out that the ravioli were terrible...not that anyone was having a shortage of eating that night! I was under the impression from prior discussions that the servers came around with seconds. I need to add here that the servers were absolutely fabulous otherwise! Everyone's drinks were constantly refilled, napkins always folded, and they were never ever in the way. You didn't even know they were there!
Also, and i was waiting until after the wedding to say something, but Maryanne was very abrupt with me the week of the wedding and made me cry. I was extremely stressed out with all of the DIY's i needed to do, and i was severely set back after dislocating my shoulder and getting sick President's weekend. We met with her on Monday night (we thought we were meeting with George), and she was just very rude in wanting to know when i expected to drop of all of the stuff for the wedding. I saw no reason why i couldn't drop stuff off up until Friday (all during the day when they had no events), but she wanted it all there by Wednesday, to sit in the closet. She is the only one there we had an issue with, and when i did drop stuff off everyday that week, everyone else there was extremely helpful and accommodating (and nice). DH was sooooo angry with her when we left too, and he is a very easy going guy. I was being hard enough on myself without her attitude. I hope it was a one off case, because the place is truly fabulous otherwise!
I still need to get pics on here!!!
