Thanks everyone! I wouldn't have thought of most of these things w/o LIW! It created a lot of work, but the details definitely showed!!!

To answer your questions:

My Mom actually made all of my pew bows (which we also reused for the CH tables with candles in the middle).

I had sent her these instructions from Martha Stewart. They were very time consuming, but also very inexpensive:

My Mom made the toiletry baskets based on lists that i found here and online! (yes, she was a HUGE help) I don't think any RH provide them, unfortunately!

We put the cigar roller in the corner of the CH room during Viennese hour. I priced out some, and they were really expensive (including the one in Massapequa). Based on rave reviews here, we ended up using:

It happened to be about 30 minutes directly N of our church, and then it was about 30 minutes SW to get to NRC.

I went to NRC this past Tuesday and met with George. He is such a sweetheart and strives to please.

I have my menu all set. I think I am changing my cake. I went with a plain one but I am going back to pick a different one. We also went over linens and stuff like that. I can't wait- I can't believe our wedding is SO close!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey everyone!

Quick question: FH and I are going to the tasting on 4/15 (YAYYYY!!!!) and we are also trying to squeeze in a meeting with an officiant that evening while we are out on the Island (since we live in Queens). About how long does the tasting last? I know it starts at 5:30.

Hi all - I am answering my own question here - FH spoke with Nadine today and she said the tasting will take 45-60 minutes. So that means we can meet with our potential officiant afterwards! Yay, so excited!
