Hi all - I am answering my own question here - FH spoke with Nadine today and she said the tasting will take 45-60 minutes. So that means we can meet with our potential officiant afterwards! Yay, so excited!

I went to the food tasting tonight......sooo good!!!!! I stuffed myself with everything b/c I just couldnt stop eating it. So excited for the wedding to come

Agreed! I think I saw you there, BTW, but I am shy so didn't say hello.
Anyway - I had heard the food was amazing, but nothing could have prepared me for the delicious feast we got to eat last night! The baby lamb chops were DIVINE ... and this is coming from someone who rarely eats red meat. The salmon as well was perfect. I was THRILLED!!!

I know I'm not a huge red meat person either but I loved the lamb chops too. FFIL loves red meat and he was so impressed with the food. I couldnt fit anything else in me even if I tried after the food tasting. I made such a pig of myself there

I was there also and the food was so awesome...Iike you already mention I am also not a red meat eater but it was so succulent ... I enjoyed every bite...the food was excellent.. FMIL was very impressed...I am getting excited!!!

Quick question. I am getting married at the NRC later this year and we are having an Interfaith Ceremony in the room downstairs.
When (if at all), do you get to have rehearsal down in the room? Is this something you have to plan out for during the week? I know it has to be tough because it's not like a church where you can have the whole place to yourself often.

They do not offer a rehearsal but will do one if you ask for one. FH and I opted to have one because there is no way I want to walk cold into my own ceremony. So we are doing one the Wednesday before our Friday wedding.
Our officiant is charging us a slight fee to do this but as far as I know, NRC is not.
ETA: I am getting married the day before you!!! So I can tell you right now that you are not able to have your rehearsal on 10/21 because that is when mine is

Hey girls! I noticed last time I went to visit the North Ritz that the bottom tablecloth is ivory and textured but the top cloth is just plain ivory (kind of like a restaurant table cloth) I asked Nadine about the upgraded linens but there isn't an ivory color. The color is like a light brown and in my opinion a little dark. I know the owner was maybe considering purchasing a textured tablecloth in the ivory color which would be AWESOME. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I noticed them at the food tasting last week actually. I wasnt sure what else they had with the upgrade. I was going to ask more about it when I met with them before the wedding. What options do they have? I'm not a big fan of the light brown....mainly b/c its not in my colors so it wouldnt work for me

That's the only color upgrade that's available. The color that I love is the ivory which is the underlay for all of the tablecloths. I just don't like the way the plain untextured ivory looks on top. It has many creases and wrinkles. What do you think?

I guess it's worth a shot! I wouldn't exepect them to invest, but it can't hurt to ask! And the linen upgrade IS a beige color. It's th only brocaded linen that they have, that's why it's an upgrade. And I'm in the same boat! Nadine ugraded me upon my request, but now the color doesn't work with my colors at all either! If you ask, they have a load of color options you can choose from! Unfortunately, I'm still not completely satisfied, though! Don't know! It'll work out!

I would love if they had the upgraded linen in an ivory just like the underlay of the table. Maybe if a few of us mention...they will consider purchasing. They seem to really want to please their clients. Ya never know!

Call your banquet manager you booked with-when I spoke with Marianne a month ago I could have sworn she said they printed menus for you-but FH and I are going to do them on our own anyway. Just double check. Good luck!
