Laura - very happy you started this thread!! I was always curious about other 2010 NRC brides.

I will be having my wedding in the afternoon on June 5th!

I have been working with Nadine and she has been wonderful! I had asked about the food tasting too, and it had been recommended that I wait until January 2010, since we only get 1 tasting and you may forget when you do the menu and also just in case the menu changes. I believe she had mentioned that we would do the menu in April (2 months prior). Although, I am very eager and can't wait for the tasting. I will be patient and wait.

Just an FYI, I called NRC to find out which florists are allowed to do the ceiling treatments. They permit the following:

Pedestals
Flowers by Brian
Stefan's
United Floral
Flower Michele

I wanna go to NRC every day... FH and I were in the area the other night and drove though the parking lot... im so excited for the wedding to just be here already!!

I stopped by there on Saturday. I put my final deposit down! No more money to NRC until 3 weeks before the wedding!

The flowers are all starting to bloom. I can't wait to go by there in June to see what it'll look like!

Yeah, it must be amazing in the summer months. I'm a jan bride so all winter i've been scoping it out. 2010 can not come quick enough.

Oldwed crashing here.
NRC was absolutely amazing. Soem of my guests are still raving that ours was the best wedding they have ever attended.
You girls will not be disappointed. Nadine is a doll and so is Ida. The bridal attendant Monica is wonderful, you hardly know she is there, but she watches you like a hawk. She got mad at me because I snuck away to go to the bathroom by myself. (word of advice - sit backwards facing the wall so that you don't have to hold up the back of your dress. Much easier to just have to hold the front).
The food was fantastic - make sure you eat. DH and I barely ate anything at our CH because everyone wanted to talk with us. Monica will bring up a plate to the bridal suite before you go down to the CH if you decide to do that.
George the Maitre'd was wonderful in coordinating everything.

I can't rave enough about NRC. My only disappointment was that it rained on my day and we had to get married inside instead of outside. But the sun did come out later in the day and we were able to grab some outdoor shots.

Hi. This is my first post so I hope I'm doing it right :)

I was told by Nadine that they do print menus with your names on it and the date, but I think it's only 1 per table.

My question is what time does everyone's cocktail hour start? Mine begins at 7:30, but I'm thinking it might be too much of a gap between it and my ceremony. Can you ladies pretty please help me out and tell me what time your cocktail hour starts if you're having a night wedding?
