I figured I'd chime in about my thoughts...

The main starway is really nice to look at, and the oversized chandeleir is a great touch.

The Noth/South dining room is very elegant, and nicely sized.

The estate portion is also very nice, and while the inside isn't as nice as the North/South IMO... it is still v ery nice. The benefit of the estate is the outside is very beautiful, especially the place where you hold the ceremony (if you choose to).

I didn't really like the North/South ceremony location, as it seemed too enclosed.. I'm not clostrauphobic, but it gave me that 'boxed in' feeling. Maybe its just wedding jitters! I'd like to be able to run if I choose to

The pricing was pretty impressive too.. At least for what they were giving you.

As of now, its my #2 choice. I'm not sure about my fiance though, who also really loved it. The only drawback is that its quite a distance out East (which may not be a problem for others), and I don't think many people would take advantage of hotel accomodations.

We offered accomodations at the Hampton Inn instead of the East Wind because E.W. was to expensive. The Hamton Inn is right off the expressway,(exit 62?), and they gave us a great deal on rooms for our guests. Just a thought if you need it. It worked out great for us and our guests.

we blocked rooms at the best western- not the greatest price, but its holiday weekend, 11 rooms of people opted to stay at east wind so far... soooooo i guess they just dont want to worry about going anywhere afterwards...

I love the estate, i think it is soooo beautiful, but i know that it is one of those rooms people willl either love or hate... i dont care, i love it, imo it is so charming ~
