Ladies, let's help each other plan our HMs.
Since we all are mainly going to the same islands (I'm going to Maui and Kauai, and I know lots are too- also Oahu is popular among us) let's post the activites/tours that we find interesting so we can help each other.

Jenny not yet. We are considering the 15 day cruise to Hawaii from Princess but not a 100% sure. how about you?

I think it's time to bring this thread back to life - there have been a lot of hawaii questions out there (some from me) and this thread helps answer a lot of them.

I'm so excited b/c we just told FH's aunt, our travel agent to go ahead and book everything!
We're going for 12 nights total - 2 nights in Oahu and 5 each on Kauai and Maui, in that order. We are doing the Island Hopper package and staying at all the Hyatts, which includes breakfast and a car and either Partial Oceanview or Oceanview rooms at each hotel. Oh, and I think she said something about a lei greeting on each island. I'm so excited - I want to go now!!!

Need help? Would you consider saving money by staying in a friend's condo (really nice million $$$ condo - free of charge) in Maui or splurging and going to the Four Seasons? I'm a little iffy on the condo just because we won't really be 'pampered' by anyone. But we are staying at the Hyatt Kuai first for 5 nights where we'll be pampered? Any thoughts are appreciated?

Are there anyflights between maui and the bigisland without having to stop in honolulu?

amy, for a sure thing, I think I would go with the four seasons since you will be close to all the entertainment and beaches and maybe take your friend up on their offer for the condo for another visit.

Amy, I think that if I had the option to save money by staying at a friend's condo, I would take them up on it. You'll be saving money that you can put towards so much other stuff.

We had the option of staying in a friends condo in Maui as well. We opted to stay at the 4S instead because the condo complex was not on the beach. We has to walk over to the Marriot to use thier facilities. So make sure that the condo has the amenities you are looking for ON PREMISES if you decide to stay there.

Has anyone heard of day trips to Oahu from Maui? We want to see paerl harbor but we skipped staying in Oahu. We are already staying in Kauai, Maui and California on the way home. I read someone on the board did a day trip. Anyone have info??

I am not doing a day trip, but I believe they are from Kauai.

I am doing something like this. We are staying at my FH's brothers timeshare condo. It is saving us a lot of money and is located in a great spots! (We are going to oahu and kaui). I don't think we would be able to afford the trip otherwise!

Thank you all! We decided to go the condo route (it is ON the beach) and 4S for the last night of our stay as a treat! I cannot wait to go!!

I did 4S as a treat for our first two nights on the big island, kona. Then we are driving to Volcanoe national park and will be staying at a bed and breakfast near there for 2 nights.

I cant wait!!
