With all of these recent posts about second guessing photographers, halls, dresses, CPs, BM dresses, etc, I thought we should just created a thread for just such discussions!!

Re: The official 'I am doubting my choice' thread
I am worried about the room at my reception hall. I love JT, but I am beginning to wonder if the Oak room is too small or too dark. I was there a couple of weeks ago and I took some pictures with my digital camera. Almost all of the pictures came out dark, even though I have a great camera. The pictures I took in the rest of the building were fine. I am beginning to wonder if they have another room available. Am I crazy or what?

I'm not really doubting my dress, but I just wish that I would have waited a little before purchasing because it ended up being so much money. I love my dress, I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I think if I didn't have 'bride brain' at the time, I would have made a much more reasonably priced choice, instead of getting swept up in the whole gown thing.

I don't doubt my dress, but I am second guessing the place I ordered it from. I was so excited to find it, I just wanted to get it ordered and over with. I could have gotten it for cheaper if I looked around some more. I also am getting annoyed with them because I ordered it almost 8 months ago, and they won't tell me when it is coming in

as many of you have read, i am doubting my dress. i still don't know what to do.
i doubted my photographer--and switched to a MUCH better and cheaper company. i love my new photographer. that was a great decision!
i constantly doubt things. it makes FH crazy but he's used to it.
he's the one thing i will never doubt!

This is a great thread!!
I was REALLY second guessing my hall to the point of checking out other options for the date, but I met with them today and all fears I had were resolved. They are under new management and the new group seems really together. I was also worried the room was to small, but when I saw it again I realized I just remembered it wrong-it will be fine!! I am very happy with all my other choices, just wish some of it was a little cheaper

My big doubt is if my reception room will hold all the people on my list!! I'm inviting 180, the room holds 150 but might be crowded, and we're hoping for 140. I hope it works out!!
You sound like me six months ago when I was freaking out to the point of possibly changing halls (so glad I didn't)! If you need me to crack the whip on your family to stop inviting people (like I did to my mother), give me a call....I'm really good at telling people they can't invite anyone else
I don't really regret anything right now. I defintely had my panicky moments of doubt, but I think it was just stress. I just told myself to stop second guessing and it passed. I guess the good thing is that I've doubted everything BUT my FH!! If that's not a good sign, I don't know what is!

I so agree with that...I used to see one bad review or comment on one of my vendors and FREAK out. Now I just take it with a grain of salt.

Re: The official 'I am doubting my choice' thread
This has definately been on my mind lately. I've been second guessing my hall and style of the wedding. I'm also worried about meeting the minimum because I think we will end up eating a few seats in the end.
I also can't make a decision about music to save my life. I want to have fun but I HATE those cheesy, too high of energy DJs. I just want things tasteful. I thought about a band but they too can be hit or miss and tend to be expensive. grrr!
AND... I can't even decide on a color. I keep changing my mind. Ugh!
I am excited about my photographer (Patken). I think they will do a great job and they seem a bit different than some of the places I looked, which is what I wanted. For a while, I felt like I was looking at all the same style pics at each new place I went.
I have yet to find a dress, etc.

Re: The official 'I am doubting my choice' thread
hummmm let see.... I think we will all doubt something if not everything in this wedding process- WHY b/c there are sooooo many darn vendors to choose from and so mauch money being given to them!!!!
1) I doubted a DW and now we are having our wedding here
2) I Doubted my first choice RH and booked another- I then had doubts about that one two and now FOr the MOMENT I am fine
3) I booked my photographer/video guy and had some doubts about the video- NOW I am fine but will make an appt to see video guy again to be sure
4) I WAS fine with my DJ after some great reviews and NOW he is OUT OF HERE AFTER seeing him play at wedding.
I am sure as I book more vendors I will have love and then hate them afterwards- i guess this is the joy of wedding planning!!!
Good thing we only get to do it once!!!!

I second guess everything except my fiance. I love everything at the time I book but then keep coming across other ideas/vendors etc. Choice is my worst enemy!

Janna - I was going to post something similar to this!
I'm on the 'I hate my dress ban wagon' lately. I keep looking at pics, and it seems so boring, yet when I look at other dresses, they're really styles I couldn't carry.
I LOVE all the other choices - Florist, Photo, DJ, BM dresses, etc.
I'm considering making a fake run to a Bridal Salon to try on 'uglier' dresses so I will fall in love with mine all over again! Craziness - I know!
ETA: I'm glad I'm not the only one 2nd guessing these things!

Re: The official 'I am doubting my choice' thread
I second guessed my hall after I made the deposit and was on the verge of changing it so many times, but didn't have courage, because my parents were paying. Turned out my concerns were valid.

I may end up being a 2 dress bride!! I'm still not sure, and yet here I am about to pick up my gown in a matter of hours....
Oh yeah and I am second guessing my tiara and my veil now. Darlene (SexyEsq) was with me tonight and agreed with me that the veil material is cheap and the rhinestones are not put on right. And on top of that my tiara is completely crooked!!! So that's $160 down the drain!!!
