people keep walking in to the office and I'm cursing them because they are ruining our chances of leaving early

i had to get up at 4:30 this morning to get the LIRR into manhattan...i have to be in by 7 but i dont actually start doing any work til 11. i really miss working nights lol

WOO HOO we're closing at 1! I'll be back on LIW after my 3 hour commute home. It doesn't sound so exciting when I put it this way

Thats what I get to live up to. When I said I was late because SOUTHERN STATE wasnt plowed and i couldnt go faster than 25mph...he said

I am here but i took the train , i live a few miles from my job so I have no excuse !

almost all of my coworkers made it in and some live in eastern suffolk ( we work in Queens ) so if they made it in, I would have looked really bad for calling in

Our office was slow to begin with b/c everyone is on vacation this week.... but to top it off the phone has only rung like 4 times and 3 were personal!!!!!!!!!!!

same for me...i work in jersey and ppl from suffolk and nassau work here too and nobody had problems coming in, even from staten island, brooklyn and far out in jersey. It would've looked real bad, there were no problems with trains, except a few delays on some trains

i know, at least 3 ppl called in 'working from home' and i'm just like, ***, metro north wasn't running? but whatever... I take the subway so I would have NO excuse
