There are none. The linens are champagne with a light damask overlay. I just asked this question the other day.

Was anyone at the showcase last night? Did anyone get to see Body Rock perform? I had no way to get there but I really wanted to go see them! They're our DJ! Was the percussionist there?

I actually booked with Bodyrock last night. We really loved Joanne and watching them perform sealed the deal. The percussionist was great but I must say that the sax player was AMAZINGGG.. soo rediculously great he was! We didnt book him but we have a lot of time now bc we pushed back our date. We will see where our money situation is later on n maybe snag them up to lol

Body Rock was on our list of possible DJ's and I have heard alot of wonderful things about them. They are a good choice! Ended up with Starlight Express - no specific reason why I chose them over Body Rock. I have heard both are great!!!I went to my menu selection meeting the other night and it was soooo wonderful because it means I am soooo close! One month from today actually!!!! YAY!!!!!!

I was sooo happy to go out there and take care of this! Its getting sooooooo close!!!!
We have the deluxe menu but we also have the mozzarella station, wine on tables, the duet, ICE CREAM BAR (this is what I am most excited about!!!), and the chocolate fountain. We chose the filet mignon for the steak.
There really wasn't anything to be flexible on - we got what was in our contract. All that above was included in our price per person.
I thought they would have given me a range to tip the MD but no, they said $5 pp for my size of wedding. They actually said 1k. I am having 200 people. It was more than I was going to give because I thought the range was $3-$5 so I was going to give in the middle. I might just anyway. We'll see.
There was only 1 thing that bothered me that I wasn't aware of. When they total up your price per person, they add the gratuity and then tax that subtotal. I thought it was weird to tax on the price including the gratuity so our final payment was about $400 more than I thought it was going to be. That was just unepxected. I was off about $2 pp which totally adds up when you have to guarantee 200!!!
But so happy with everything that we are getting and although some of above surprised me a little, I am more than happy that we chose JT and I can NOT wait!!!!

hey kelly i went for my menu thing too last week and though they told me the $5 per person for the matri de i'm only doing $3 per... otherwise it is way way too much in my opinioni also switched out the wild mushroom risotto for the risotto milanise (sp?) because i don't think everyone loves mushrooms

Hey Kimi, I agree - I think $5 is way too much. I think I am going to do $4 to be right in the middle of what they wanted and what I wanted to give.
Mike P is our MaitreD. Yay! I think we have the same person. Our next meeting is on the 6th - right before your wedding! It is such a relief that they said we can bring all our stuff that night. We live in Brooklyn so it can take forever to get there.

Even though we already booked, I was interested in doing a food tasting. Does anyone know how to go about setting that up at JT? Also how long before the wedding do you go in to choose your menu..and is that also the time when you choose your cake? Thanks girlls!

You picked a great place!!!! HEHEHE!!!!!
Well the funny thing about food tastings there is that JT tells people they don't do them but some girls have said they had them. I think if you are there on a day they are having an event, they will let you try some of the food. Thats what they told me but I never did it.
You pick your menu 1 month before the wedding and thats when you also pick your cake. You can go to Dortonis if you are using the JT cake and try their fillings to see what you like.

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
When FH and I first got a tour of JT, we knew we fell in love with it but wanted to taste the food too!! I was able to set up an appt to do a food tasting a few weeks later and both our parents came. That was the day we officially booked it :) A wedding was actually going on in another room and we sat at one of the cocktail hour rooms and tasted the food (so it wasn't like they were making food specifically for us). I thought this is just what they did... but it was well over a year ago so maybe their policies have changed? Their food is amazing though and they offer so much for your day!! I am def NOT concerned about JT's food or service that's for sure!!!

Re: The official JERICHO TERRACE thread
We had our wedding at the JT three weeks ago! We had the ceremony in the chapel and the reception in the penthouse. It was BEAUTIFUL! Ladies, you are all very lucky! This place was TOP NOTCH, we are still getting phone calls about the place, the food and the service. People were raving about it! Mike Perikas and staff were absolutely amazing, they were everywhere and anywhere, doing everything for you to make sure the day was perfect! From start to finish it was the best day of my life! I am just starting to write my review, def. holla at me if you have any questions.Welcome New Vendors
