thanks!

hmm does anyone think it is worth it pay for the helicopter ride? I doubt FH would go for it but I am debating it bc that is what EVERYONE complains about ( the drive )

Look into it. I'm not sure if the helicopter ride is just for the smaller airport. I do not know if you can do the helicopter ride coming in from the larger airport. Def. check it out though!

I am pretty sure the helicopter option is from the larger airport. The smaller airport is very close (15 min maybe) to the Grande and Halcyon. The ride to the Regency is also shorter from the smaller. We flew into the smaller airport, so the helicopter was not something we looked into.

Oh ok..I did not see that option at the larger airport so I thought it was at the other airport. Well if that is the case, def. take the helicopter!

I was going to ask the same thing. We were looking into Ladera and I've heard mixed things about it. Do you know of any other resort that has a private pool?

Re: The Official St Lucia Thread!!

I am going to the Grande St. Lucian in the Penthouse Honeymoon Baechfront. I wanted the Rondaval room, but with looking for a house and the wedding, I just can't afford it.

How about you?

Re: The Official St Lucia Thread!!

We looked at the rondaval (spelling oops) but it was like $7000 plus airfare for 5nights and 6days. FH said no way. So sad

Re: The Official St Lucia Thread!!

We're at the Regency Hill Side split level villa honeymoon oceanfront. :)\
I wanted the one with a pool...but for 1200 more FH said no....especially since he said lets take the 1200 and do more excursions instead...I say OK.

Not sure if its a waste .... but we got the honeymoon oceanfront penthouse concierge room ... we didnt splurge for the pool because it isnt private

Just got back from the grande - it was fantastic - and i we did the penthouse oceanfront conceirge room - loved the room u just face the ocean on the back of the resort which was quite - if you want to face the pools and the beach side ask for beachfront. the conceirge service was amazing and they did everything for us! i would recommend the grande and st lucia to anyone!

Re: The Official St Lucia Thread!!

i am not worried so much about what the room looks like. i am sure that they are nice otherwise so many people would not go. i was wondering about what type of room to get. they are similar but different.
