It was pitch black, the fountain is HUGE, looks really nice

For girls who had there ceremony at SC, did they allow you to throw rice/flower petals after? Or do you have to do something 'neater' like bubbles?

I don't know, every time I ask a question, it like...Oh, well figure it our and then he never calls me. I guess I am just very impatient and can't wait until a couple months before my wedding for pricing and stuff. And he avoids answering my questions:

I have asked him a couple time why the Kinetic lighting is so much?

Do we have a Food tasting?

when do we pic the cake?

No Answer...

yeah I've had a similar experience with him it's a little annoying

there are no tastings and you pick the cake a month or two before i think

I wish there was a tasting, but I hear the food is excellent. I went to the Bridal Expo last night. It was pointless, but nice to see the place. I did meet Alex from Jimmy Dee and saw Top Notch music... I like them both.

On Carlo again... I hate when he throw out the Italian accent...hehehe

For the penthouse, does anyone know what the deal is with colored lighting? When we stopped in a few weeks ago when we were there for a bridal show, they had this blue-ish purple overlighting. Do you know if that's permanent or if you have to pay extra for it? Or if you can choose what color overlighting you want?

Has anyone gotten chair covers thrown in at SC? I know when the venue owns them sometimes you can get them added in for free....just wondering what you girls were told

usually they throw them in when you book or ive heard they do it at the end as a 'gift' I know at my wedding it was a gift towards the end but that was a diff venue and a few yrs back

today i called to ask a question about lighting and carlo wasn't in so they put me through to arty the event planner... and he was actually helpful and had answers to my questions so i will be going thru him from now on and if you girls have questions ask for him!

ETA: are any girls who are having (or have had) evening weddings arriving early to take pictures? how early did they say you could come?

past surf club brides: who coordinates the ceremony? .... like tells people where to stand... the officiant? the matre d? the banquet manager?

I've had the same experience with Carlo as well... I thought it was just me! I called him this week to see if there were any availabilities for a holiday party for my mom and he was short with me and pretty much said no and hung up. I was quite surprised. Luckily, he is primarily works in a sales capacity and it seems they have other people that help you plan for your day, like Artie.

Artie is super helpful. Last Friday I met with him to discuss linens and table setups and this Sunday we're meeting again so he can show me how the tables could look with linens from the manufacturers. He knows I'm looking into other rentals as their linen prices are a bit pricey but still helpful anyway. And I am asking for a lot of help :)

Haven't gotten to the food planning yet. SO excited for that!

The fountain is interesting, to say the least. The gravel is still not complete.
