I went yesterday and although we decided to not go with the surf club we did ask a million questions and one of them was about the chairs! They said they are getting new ones.
They are getting new everything thank goodness. By any chance, would you mind uploading the pics from the cd to your album? If you could, that would be amazing and a huge help! I meant to ask them for some pictures but I forgot on Saturday lol.

Before we booked I asked about the chairs (because I HATE chair covers...don't ask...lol!) and they told us that they are getting Brand New Chairs!!!!!
They don't provide anything but the direction cards.

i love chair covers. jaime and my dad told me not to get them b/c they are getting new chairs.. but im getting them anyway.. they are throwing them in for free since we are spending a crazyyyyyyyy amount of $$ there...
Btw.. does anyone know if they give us table numbers, place card holders and menus? thanks!

Hey girls!
I am using the upstairs room (I forgot the names I know I'm awful) but I had a question... I know that they had bridal suites up there.. and I assumed that was for the bridal party of the wedding upstairs. Then, someone told me that they thought the downstairs wedding ALSO had their bridal suites up there?????????? Is this true??????? Or are there bridal suites downstairs?????????? I dont really want another bride upstairs right by me and my guests on my wedding!!! SOOO really curious!

i went to see her.... the cheapest tall CP they offer is $150... hth

Hi all! I am new to posting on this board but I have been lurking for quite a while. I am a Surf Club bride getting married on 7/25/09 and I wanted to share something I thought was really upsetting-especially if you are a summer bride. The other day when we were at the SC getting direction cards we noticed a sign that beach club membership enrollment was starting. We were so upset bc we asked Jaime when we booked back in June if there was going to be any people at the beach or pool and he said it has been closed to the public for years. Well my fiance just called Jaime and he was with some other people but he said that the town was making them open it up! He said that the beach will close at 6pm but the pool will remain open!!! This pisses me off to no end. My ceremony is at 5:30 on the beach and I do not want people wathcing or kids screaming! And the pool is right next to the ballroom window. It is so trashy to me to have people running around in bathing suits while I'm having a classy evening affair. Jaime asked my fiance to call him in an hour so if you like I will keep you updated. But this is a huge deal for me. Sorry my first post has to be one of this nature. But I look forward to talking and planning with you all.
