Has anyone added an extra hour to there wedding? We are thinking of doing it and curious what the price is...
As in the Vienesse(sp?) hr?
They wanted another $10pp when I asked and was like, Oh no!
Plus, ours ends at 1am as it is and not going to be necessary.

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I don't want any more food.. There is more then enough of that. Instead of ending at a 1130 we want to end it at 1230. Originally I was going to have an after party at the hotel, but figured why do that when we can just extend the reception an extra hour... and maybe we can actually dance and party for alittle bit. I just want to actually feel that the wedding lasted and didnt just fly by.... you know....

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
I hear ya and in the beginning that is what we figured we would want, didnt want the extra food.I think we did ask that as well and he said, BM at the time, $6-$7pp additional and that was for the extra hr & that would include the bar that would remain open for that extra hr and any waiters/waitresses, & staff.
Cant hurt to ask.

don't forget to check your band/dj's price for overtime...our's is exorbitant, so there's no way we're going a minute over

Re: The Official Woodbury Country Club Thread
Great. I have a call in to see how much extra it would be. Our BM is one that left.. so I need a new one.Our DJ is only $300 extra for an hour. Thats there hourly rate anyway not sure if that would be considered OT.
Ill have to call them also.

I hope someone can help me
About the cake, I was shown a book with some samples and the cake I liked was extra money. Did anyone talk directly to the bakery about the design they wanted?

Great review diamondgrlie! Sorry about the flower fiasco but it sounds like everything else was amazing. So glad to hear a good review about WCC! I have some random questions for you...what kind of cake did you guys get? Did they let you pick out the design of it or just the flavor? Also, was it any good? I know I've heard other WCC brides say that the cake was not good. Thanks!

The cake was DELICIOUS! Not as yummy as the tartufo for dessert but it was good.
We chose a yellow cake with chocolate pudding as the filling. I kept looking at cakes and printed 3-4 cakes and showed them to Dominick (my BM at WCC) and he approved my favorite.

Hi girls - Just to let you know the cake was yummy (my DH had 2 pieces) and the tartufo was a HUGE hit.I haven't done a review yet but the Woodbury was great, all my guests loved it! The outside area (for the downstairs room) was especially popular
