'the one'?

'the one'?

Out of all of the millions of dresses do you really believe that their is one wedding dress that is 'the one'

I've found 3 that I like that I plan to choose from. (Unless i find something else at pronovias next Friday). I'm 1000000000% ok with this cuz i do really like all 3 and would be happy with any of them. They all have something specific about them that I really do like.

However, my mom is upset cuz she wants me to keep looking until I find 'the one'

I just really don't believe there is just 1 dress that i was meant for. Even with FH. I love him to death and would do anything for him and am 1000% sure I want to marry him and spend the rest of my life with him. But do I think he is the only person for me in the entire world? No. Imo that's not realistic or logical. I feel the same way about the dress lol.

ITA with you....I think that there were probably a few dresses that would have looked gorgeous on me. When I tried on my dress I loved it and knew I could see myself walking down the aisle in it. But if I never came across that dress, I still think I would have found something just as amazing.

I believe that there's probably more than one dress out there I'd like...but I probably can't afford the dresses that would be my other 'ones'

I only got my THE ONE because it was a sample at half off

i initially had 3 that i was going to choose from. after a week or so i went back & tried on all 3 again & in only 1 did i walk out of the room smiling & saying that i didn't want to take it off. that's when i knew it was 'the one'.

my mom made me set up another appointment to look at additional dresses anyway to just make sure.

I think I totally agree with you. I had a more teary-eyed omg feeling in a dress I didn't end up getting, but I love the dress I got better. I wouldn't stress over 'the one' feeling, just take it with stride. However I do for some reason have this feeling you're going to find your dress at pronovias, good luck!!!

My Mom was also like that - she would have had me looking foreverrrrrrr....

I voted 'no' but think that it is an individual thing.. some people will have that moment where they know it is 'the dress' and there will be tears, etc... not me.

But truly, whichever dress you choose in the end, no matter how you choose it... it 'the one' isn't it?

ITA agree with you...I tried on a few dresses that i loved, but when i put on the one that I eventually bought-I could just see myself getting married in it. But, I'm sure I would've loved another dress just as much if I would've continued trying on...

you def have time. so i would just wait and think it out...plus isnt the new line going to come out soon? i think the new lines usually come out in september. you may just want to wait a bit if you arent have that OMG OMG feeling.

was mine the one? i liked it the best. it made me happy. i never cried or anything. but when it finally comes in im hoping i get that feeling. it ***** cuz no onee actualy got to see me in the dress i ordered, so im hoping to have ppl with me and they better be OMG OMG SOOO NICE. LOLOLOL

I just know that when I put on my dress I didn't want to take it off and I didn't even want to think about seeing or trying anything else on....I think thats the feeling that you need to have. As for FH I believe he is my 'The One' I couldn't imagine me or my life without him....just me being corny and gushy

I knew mine was 'the one' because it was the very last dress I tried on and I didn't find anything I didn't like or wanted to change on it.

Further, my mother who passed away in 2006 gave me the CD single 'I Hope you Dance' b/c I was down and out one year; it has always been 'our' song.......so when I came out of the dressing room my sisters are crying and I hear the song on the radio...it was crazy! She was 'the one'

I voted yes. I believe as there were circumstances that led me to meet my FH there were circumstances that led me to stumble upon this dress.
it was a 'meant to be'.
I am sure there are other dresses out there that I may like, love or look better in, but the one that I got is perfect for me. IMO there will always be others, but only one that will make u feel like the most beautiful, happy, glowing and dont want to take the dress off girl. again, my personal opinion.

I would keep looking. as experience showed me on here, there were some girls that got a dress and didnt get that feeling, and ended up finding another that did

totally true! i tried on a dress at lilettes and it looked soooo good (and i am not a conceited person by far!). but it looked awesome!!! howeverrrrrrr....it just wasnt the look i was going for. it was very old hollywood glamour, and i loved it. but i wanted something more romantic and soft and peaceful for the wedding

so i think it also has to go with your vision for that day.

if i had no idea at all, i may have gotten the other dress cuz i really did love the way it looked. the sample fit like a glove.
