The Pope's Funeral

Is anyone getting up to watch it at 4am? I'm staying at my Mom's tonight and she asked me to watch it with her. 4am

Does anyone know if they are showing it during the day

i just heard on CNN that coverage begins at 3am - now I'm confused !

No I think 4AM is your only shot. I'm sure they will show clips throughout the day but not in its entirity. If you have to be up...why aren't you in bed!

FIL will be up watching it on the Polish news station. DH's cousins in Poland were supposed to be taking a 30 hour train ride to go to the funeral. I wonder when they left and if they made the list.

my mom's getting upt to watch it, but she will tape it. I don't really think I want to sit through the whole thing ayway..on tape I cna fast forward through any repetive footgage or readings in another langugae or whatever. i love the pope, but a 3 hour funeral is a lot, especially at 4am!

My mom just called me to ask if I was going to get up and watch it. She's going to bed now and getting up to watch it at 4am.

I had a few people buying tickets to Rome even yesterday...
I am considering getting up but I am not sure if I will be able to stay awake!!!

They are going to re-air it again at 10:00 on channel 4. I am going to tape it..way too early for me eventhough I have the day off!

I believe one of the cable news stations (CNN? MSNBC?) are going to replay it tonight during prime time.

So I did it, I got up at 4am, OK more like 4:45, and watched it with my Mom. It was very, very moving. Just as I was going back to bed for an hour, I heard them say they would be airing it, in it's entirety, and 9am AND Noon. I am glad I watched it with her though.
