The power of the post

These vendors have no idea how powerful these boards are, both good and bad. Some of these 'new up and coming vendors ' like Duet (who I am using ) are getting free advertising up the wazooo!! and on the other hand, If I start reading poor customer service over and over by certain places to brides, Im not waisting my time, and Im going to tell girls who I know are getting married . When a vendor annoyed me once, I almost said to him 'You know Im on LIweddings!!' (be nice to me or Im going to post how you treat me!!) I hope Im not coming off conceited.

I just had to share again.

I agree!! I am pretty much going on the power of suggestion from you ladies before making any phone call

I agree with you somewhat...I just think that it is the brides loss if she doesn't go see a vender because of what is said here! I have seen both - & + comments on almost every vender and the ones that are the most reveered here...I didn't like at all...But i did go see a bunch to know what I liked!

Do i believe everyone should tell their story...YES but we, as brides should take that with a grain of salt!

When i was asking about different florists to go see...The vender i pick was highly recommended. Now i have seen quite a few not so nice comments.. Oh well, I picked what I liked best. And another florist, that is highly recommended here, i couldn't stand.

Sometimes it's so difficult as a consumer. Unfortunately, the old rule, about pleasing you're customers and they will bring more business ...seems to be out of the window.

I have had a great time dealing with the Vendors that this site and my wedding site recommended. They have been so professional, and enthusiastic. This situation I am in with the bridal salon is an isolated event.


My fh, hit it on the head. He said, 'you are
a one time customer', how often do you go back to your bridal salon again. That's why there could be poor customer service.

I actually disagree with what your FH said. These venders..ALL OF THEM...rely alot on word of mouth..so they try to please us..It is just they can't please us all.

But your experience is different...that was horrible!

I totally agree. When i first saw Duet i came home and asked if anyone had heard of them. Not one person said yes. I booked them anyway because i really loved their work and the attention they were giving me at the studio. We went through everything. Plus the price was unbelievable. The thing i love the most was there video. Anyway.

Since i posted about them and posted my pics, so many people have booked with them it is unbelievable. It is amazing what a few posts can do.

I agree. If it weren't for this site, I don't know where I would be! I love all the advice and recommendations I get here. These vendors ought to be more careful.
