My preist told us on Sunday that it costs about $4,000 a month to heat the church. And its not a huge church!
She was telling us this, because sheasked that if we were making a donation it be to the fuel fund. This church doesn't have a set fee for weddings. . . I'm starting to think they should.
This is a little Episcopal church,they don't have a huge Congregation, & they don't have a lot of weddings.
We are going to see how much we can reasonably give, but it seems like it is such a smallamount, comapred to all their expenses.

I'm paying $375 for my church and it is money well spent, but there shouldn't be a number set by the church. I problably would have given a little more had they not set a figure.
