The secret is out

ok so I have been holding this in for such a long time--Such a long story that I havent really talked about cause of work--they dont know yet

But Dh's Dad owns a business in Pal park (which is where he grew up) and has always wanted DH to take it over but Dh didnt want to leave the hands on part of his job(auto body) since he has seen his Dad over the years --you know the dealing with people, business end of it---so for the last 5 years it has been this back and forth about his Dad wanting him to take over and hiim not wanting it and of course I stay out of it cause I was not about to 'force/convince' him to do something that he would regret--

Well the last year it has gotten 'worse' cause FIL wants to retire within 2 years or so and finally move out of Pal park--- so we started having these ' talks' and FIL kept mentioning me doing the business end and now all this time I 'couldn't' tell them that I planned on retiring(SAHM) hopefully by next year--

Ok with all that being said all along I have told Dh I would support whatever his decision would be--- then on Fathers day we had yet another talk with MIL & FIL and at one point kind of exasperated I 'exploded' on my mil-- cause she was saying--You know I gave up a lot YADA YADA when FIL opened the business and I was like If DH asked me to quit my career tomorrow I would--and he walked in--

well over a month later we go to have another talk with them and DH says that hearing me on Fathers Day made him realize that we could do this together
Ok so after a long rambling story

( I feel like Claud or Anna--although there stories are so much better )

We are taking over the business-- but we havent figured out timing so I still cant tell work--but def by Oct/Nov since I dont want to be at my job during the holidays---

So with that being said I will still get the flexibilty I need when we do start a family and financially we will be much better off!!!

So I guess the cat is out of the bag!!!!
