The shoes I would LOVE for my BMs.... ALSO: Please post where you found dyable shoes for your BMS!
But - they are Vera Wang and Cynthia rowley - the Vera are $460 something, and the Rowleys are about $160 something, and we are looking for something $50.00 and under - by any chance - can anyone suggest where I could find similar styles for the monetarily challenged???

Those are gorgeous!
Have you tried MJM or DSW? They have huge selctions with major discounts off of designer shoes. Good luck!
are those type of places hit or miss? Like going to Marshalls?
I know how hit and miss Marshalls can be. I don't find MJM to be that way...every time I go there I always find something great.
Because the selection is so much larger than Marshalls I think you will have a good chance of finding something that you like.
One of my best friends got her BM shoes from DSW. She found the shoe online, happened to be in DSM just browsing, found the shoe and paid half the price. I am not sure how large of a bridal party you are having so you may go there and end up finding only some sizes (but they do carry a large inventory for each shoe...much more than Marshalls or TJ Maxx). She had 11 BM's found 10 pairs in one DSW location and the final pair in another DSW.
I think it is worth a shot to look. I am actually going to MJM tomorrow...I can take a look for this style if you want and let you know if they have anything similiar!

well - the thing is - my BMs will have to buy - and I can't get open toe since I want them all to match and one doesnt want open toe...
and not a very high heel like in the pics, but I like the idea of a chunky heel - I love that wrap around the ankle look!
Also - i will need to dye - I'm just impossible, arent i?

Not impossible at all!! You want what you want and since it is your day you get it!!!
humm...I still say to try either DSW or MJM. I am sorry if I sound like I am trying to sell you on the places but they have such great stuff there!! I know when I go BM shoe shopping I am going to look there first.
I too LOVE the wrap around the ankle look...its so elegant yet still fun! And the chunky heel in my opinion is much more comfy than a tall skinny one!
Have you tried zappos.com? I have ordered shoes from there too and that is an AWESOME sight. And they too have a HUGE selection!

I bought my shoes at DSW during the tax free week for $39.00 but you may want to wait a bit. They will have a better selection in a couple of months or so for June weddings.

Run a search for shoes on the '06 board. A bride just posted shoes with the ankle ties in the last two weeks.
