she is performer......she is a celebrity.......that is the life that she choose - if she wanted a private life then she shouldn't have tried so hard to become famous!! that is what you give up when you are a celebrity - it's the price that you pay - maybe she should have thought about that before having 2 kids??? i mean what did she expect? TONS of celebrity kids get joked on not just her kids - i'm not saying its right, but it is what it is.....she gets paid to perform - bottom line - that is her JOB......would it be acceptable for us to do a sh*tty job at work because we were upset or in a bad mood? or come to work stoned ? no way - we'd get fired!!! i don't feel sorry for her if thats the truth behind her crappy performance - its her job to perform - and she hasn't had a good perfomance in a long time - why do they keep giving this girl so many chances? i used to love britney as a performer (not a singer b/c we all know the girl can't sing lol) and i would love to see a comeback but i don't think its going to happen for her.......if she can't handle a 4 minute performance how could she handle 2 kids?

That is where MY problem is. I understand that in the world we live in that once you become a celebrity, you lose your right to privacy but I don't agree with it. I don't think it's fair. THink about all the daily mistakes we make. Now imagine being famous and having the whole world watching you pick your nose while you are driving, or tripping and falling with your baby. Katie Holmes just recently fell in Europe with Suri in her arm and NO ONE made a big deal... Britney stumbles and they call her a bad mom. I don't agree with her decisions and choices, but I don think the girl is a little sick and needs some slack... I think Hollywood has a vendetta out for this girl and they won't stop til she cracks again... anyone that shaves their head out of sheer desperation needs help

i dont agree with it either......but these people also make tons of money - people like us can't even comprehend how much money they have....they live lavish lifestyles, they probably can have almost anything that they want and most of them LOVE their job - actors, singers, sport players - meantime i'm here sitting at my crappy job, worrying about how i am going to afford a wedding, a mortgage, kids, etc.......i think that there are people who aren't famous that have it a lot harder than Britney Spears and they still manage....

agreed. And this is the life WE chose. We have to deal with it being hard. We could have went to school to be a doctor, or a lawyer or choose a profession that would make us a lot of money and we could live a more lavish lifestyle. People think that money makes other people happy. I'm sure Britney would kill to have a strong family, kids and a mortgage with a man she loves and struggle, than have all the money in the world and be a disaster. She's lost, and really feel for her.

yeah i totally see what you are saying......maybe its bc i love sarah silverman so i am partial LOL......but i just feel like its TV, she is a comedian, she gets paid to make those jokes - she is taking a risk making jokes like that, but look at how many people are talking about sarah silverman now - she's just doing her job too, people are making a buzz about her now.....if you didn't know who sarah silverman was two days ago you do now.....so i agree it was cruel and mean, but its also TV land - got to get those viewers, got to get people talking about it.....and hey we are talking about it - so i guess they know what they are doing lol

hate to say this but i think im kinda glad she didn't do well. Not that i wish her bad but too much do people idolize drug addicts, alcoholics, etc and i dont think its right. I mean what if she did well? thats a comeback? i dont really think so, you put on a good performance but look at everything else you're doing...then she would go on thinking she can do whatever she wants and act however and it will be ok...Hopefully it will make her wake up and see that it not only effects her personal life but her career

oh dont get me wrong, I love sarah silverman too shes histerical...Even when her jokes are crazy im like oh well she wouldnt be able to joke about it if you weren't doing it, like the whole paris hilton thing...This one time she crossed the line, i do see what she was doing but it came out wrong. She called them mistakes to point out that britney calls them that but it came across differently.

Especially for people who do things such as Britney has done. If you read the article that is in Allure about her this all makes sense. One minute she's in it the next she's distant. She did the photo shoot for Allure but missed a bunch of appointments to do an interview (and never actually made it to one.) Apparently this is what she's been doing. She probably needs a loooong break.

yeah i agree. i think she just needs to get out of the eyes of the media for awhile and spend time with her kids and trying to have a motherly relationship with them. it will definitely help them in the future knowing their mother may have had a rough patch in her life but turned herself around.

Oh thank god we agree 100%!!!! Because I honestly didn't think I could defend myself in a war since I am all talk haha

but yeah i used to read those magazines all the time i would buy them for the train. but now i cant even deal. it is gross what is going on in the media. between drugs, rehab, lindsay hooking up with someone in rehab, angelina jolie looking like shes 20lbs and britney smoking up with her kids you know (ok that is an exaggeration but come on).
