X17 has uncovered the truth behind Brit's less than energetic performance tonight.
Check it out -- we're all wondering why Britney looked like she was doing a dry run rather than a full-on VMAs gig tonight and X17 has the answer!
A source tells X17 Brit found out about Sarah Silverman's crappy line about Britney's babies just moments before she took the stage to perform 'Gimme More.' Needless to say, Britney was PISSED! ... as any mom would be. Britney was so upset she walked through her performance just to get it over with (despite encouragement from her friends, including Sam who was apparently yelling at Sarah backstage) to skip out on it all together). She held up her end of the bargain and got a major slap in the face from Sarah.

catie-yeah thats how i feel about things going on in the media...it just got to a point where it was too much, these young girls who are going crazy...not just oh they went out to a club and got drunk ya know thats normal but its beyond that and everyday theres tons of stories like this.
Diane-her mom has tried to get involved and bc of it britney is trying to cut her out of the will or at least what is being said. THats why her mom is saying kevin should have the kids
ahh thanks! i had no idea...see its like one of those things i cant watch (like blood in a scary movie) bc i used to love her..so i see her like this and dont pay attention but i did tune in hopin for a miracle performance.

But didn't Sarah Silverman make those comments AFTER Brittney performed, how could that be the reason for her bad performance? I was cheering for her because back in the day she used to have some moves!!!

I would have really liked to see her original performance with Chris Angel, she was suppose to float ( never mind too easy, lol) and some other antics. Chris Angel is HOTTTTTTT!!!

PS... Sarah Silverman is the most unfunny person I've ever seen on TV. How her show got a second season is a miracle.... and god is Jimmy Kimmel.

no matter how bad her performance was and what she looked like, she is still getting publicity from it. In hollywood- any publicity is better than none.
