THE WORST & BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

I have some TERRIBLE news to tell everyone about.

Sunday, 3/9 was my shower - I knew about it....started at 430pm.

Well, Sunday morning my dog (who we only had for about 7 months) got out of the yard and was hit by a car and died.

We got a knock on our door from the kids across the street, saying Max just got hit...we rushed down the road (busy street) and there he was laying in the middle of the road...still alive, but barely.

We put him on a board & just 30 seconds in the car, he passed away in my arms.

My fh and I are completely devastated. We lost our first son...it's so quiet in the house. We have been crying non-stop. My fh buried him with his father yesterday.

I'm still in shock this happened....and on the day of my shower...I'm attaching a pic of him.

He was my little baby - followed me everywhere. Even when I was on the computer - see pic.

My puppy's name is Max also. Your story just made me tear up. Sorry for your loss

OMG! I'm so sorry to hear that! So devastating. It reminds me of my dog how he loves sitting on my lap when i'm on the computer. I'm terribly terribly sorry about your puppy, that's one of the hardest things to deal with :(

OMG I am so sorry!!!! This is so sad... I don't know you or your pup but this made me tear up!!! I know how hard it is to lose a pet, especially so tragically. My heart goes out to you and your FH...

I hope you were able to still enjoy your shower somewhat...?

Oh no!!!! I am so so sorry to hear about this. My friend had the same thing happen to him, and I know it's devasting. And you had a puggle, right? I do love them. My sister has two.

oh no I am soo sorry. I dont know what I would do if my puppy got hit!! I would be soo upset.

but hang in there!!!!

did the person who hit him at least stop and help you??
