Im in tears right now. I can't believe this. I called today to see if my video was ready only to find out my videographer had some kind of malfunction with his camera and there was no footage on the video. It sounds like a bunch of crap to me but Im too disturbed to figure it out.

He was great at the wedding and video everything. He even had a big monitor that showed what he was taping how could this be.

He states he will be returning my money in full but I don't have those memories I was so looking forward to seeing. Im so upset right now.

That is just OUTRAGEOUS!!!! So sorry to hear this happened!!!!

I agree with PPs - call EVERYONE you can who might have gotten some amateur video; a good videographer will work with you to edit that into something!! As to your video guys, I'd say first off they owe you a LOT more than just the money you paid, this is WAY MORE than just a monetary loss. Perhaps one of the lawyers on this great board can suggest something? Either way I'd file a complaint with the better business bureau IMMEDIATELY so that any futuure brides using them will have a heads up if they're checking with BBB.

Im so sorry this happened to you hon. Send out a message to EVERYONE that attended and in brief tell them what happened with the video and basically put out an APB for anything taped....I know alot of camera's now have a video function, people probably took videos at your wedding. It might not be the best quality, but its something...

OMG! I am so sorry. My parents had a similar situation, their photographers studio burned down the week after the wedding and everything was lost

BUT, they have been married for 43 happy years and my Mom still can tell wonderful stories about their wedding day, keep the memory alive with stories you can share with your loved ones

LISA... OMG! i am soooo sorry!!! that truly is hreatbreaking.... get your money back!!! and also, i would see what else they can do for you--- was the video people the same company as your photo? perhaps they can free you free pics, albums, etc etc.
