a band quoted me somewhere around $15,000... then i saw them at a wedding a couple of months later and they were actually not that good, imo... glad i didn't pursue that one

Definitely venues: One private club in NYC wanted 15K site fee, 300$ per head, not including gratuities, AND they expected us to join for a fee of 15K more.

I saw 2 photography vendors who just give proofs and 1 album for $5000 - they did do amazing work, but I couldn't get past the feeling I was being totally ripped off.

It's a tie between Denise Leli for tiara, she does great work but I would much rather spend that money elsewhere and SandCastle's quote for a Friday night in WINTER ..which is so much I wont mention...

Well, I haven't had much of that (well, actually, with my budget everything seems way too expensive ).
But everytime I mention the price of anything to my VA friends they think I'm nuts... Especially my per person... And it's actually on the cheap side for what I'm getting
