is anybody using a theme for the wedding or can throw ideas out there for me? i would like to do cute diy and maybe coordinate the colors and get favors within the theme..tia!!!

i know this might sound kind of cheesy but i am doing a heart theme. i love hearts, they make me happy and i have seen so much out there with interlocking hearts.

I'm doing the same thing... I thougth I was cheesy too, lol... I tried to put a spin on it though and call it 'Sparkle Hearts' theme... lots of hearts, and sparkles on the flowers, cake, centerpieces, etc. I love all the pretty girly stuff! To top it off my colors are pink and lavender... such a girly wedding, lol... FH doesn't care either, he's like whatever you want!

Themes can be a monogram or type treatment, color, season, favorite symbol or object or even animal.
I wanted my turtles incorporated but fh said that was gay so i opted for photographs in my dress with my turtles IoI
Can be a theme of your favorite place to visit or heritage.

You could do a fall theme- reds, yellows, oranges. Or you could take things in another direction and do something like black and hot pink. You can also do black and white.

yaaaaaaaaaaay, i'm not the only absolute girly-girl!! our colors are pink and silver...it's going to be so girly, i can't wait!!
we're lucky our fh's are so understanding. a lot of guys would not want any pink in their wedding at all!! and yaaaaaaaay for hearts!!

we're doing 'fall-ish' colors for nov...champagne/ivory/creme...then diff browns - cafe au lait to espresso along with gold and bronze and then adding rose/pinks to the CH

no theme for us... never really gave it much thought...
me and FH just decided on some colors.. red/black/white and silver and just sticking with it the whole way through.
