OK, so my BMs have been really great and I know I shouldn't complain because some of you girls have had tough times with your BMs. But, I am going to complain anyway....... I just delivered the BM dresses to all of my girls (ordered in NC and taken up to LI last week). Most of them are too big....they ordered up a size for the girls that were between two sizes, which makes sense. Now, my cousin e-mails me to say that her dress is too big and can't even be altered. She says she is a size 8 and they ordered a 14 for her. She has big hips and we all know that they go by your biggest measurement....and they run small. She wants me to exchange the dress! Does she think I bought it at Macy's?!? They can't exchange it and even if they could, it would never get here in time!!!! UGH!!!!!! I know my aunt is probably making her freak out. I just needed to vent......

I was in a wedding in October where I lost like 20 pounds from being measured to my fitting...I wear an 8 in pants...my dress was a size 16...It took like 4 fittings to get it to fit right, but it's totally possibly! Tell her a qualified seamstress will be able to do it, and sending it back is not an option!!!!!!

when we went to order bm dresses for my best friends wedding (we went to phyllis from gownfind) and she shocked us when she told us the alterations a good seamstress can do....if she goes to someone who knows what they are doing it shouldn't be a problem
