Here's what I think about the game tonight:

1-4 in the Yankee order has been held quiet for a couple of games-really since the blow out. But you can't keep these guys quiet for long. So one or two of those hitters will pull it together tonight.

On the other end Damon and Manny have been held down all series-that scares me as a Yankee fan. They are both due to have big hits. I expect one of them to break out of their slump tonight.

I think Lowe is going to get into trouble early and they will bring in Wakefield. Varitek can't catch Wakefield. So if the Yankees are patient and can get on base they will be able to add on runs by playing small ball.

Brown is going to do ok, not great, but ok. But then the Yankees are going to give the ball over to the bullpen which has failed them in the last 3 games.

This game will be decided in the last 2 innings of the game. As a Yankee fan I am hopeful it will be in favor of the Yankees. But I would not be shocked if Boston pulls it out.

I already told you .. I won't be around to listen to it. I mean really, there won't be anything for Yankee fans to say at that point anyhow, so why should we waste our breath (or risk carpel tunnel ?)

I agree. You're welcome to post away and we deserve to hear it. But we're not going to have anything to say. Even if there's an incorrect call tonight and that's how the Yankees lose, there is no excuse for us to even be in a game 7.

Did you hear the lineup for tonight for the Yankees? Torre has Lofton as a DH but he has him batting 7th with Clark and Cairo behind him. Why do that? Clark isn't going to move Kenny over if he gets on. Lofton should bat behind Cairo so that when Cairo gets on Lofton can move him. Clark is almost an automatic out.

And regarding your earlier statements, Jen. I think you have the game pretty well thought out. I have been saying these past three games that its only a matter of time b/f Damon or Manny finally breaks out . Unfort., tonight is their chance to shine. If the Sox chip away at Brown early and he's pushed out earlier than expected, I truly think we're doomed

I don't mind Lofton being in because he's a patient situational hitter. That's what they need. Sierra swings for the fences at every at bat. But I don't like where he's batting. It just doesn't make sense.

Well me and my FW are heading over to First Edition bar in Bayside to watch some of the game.

So guess what.... I won't be home. Hahahahahahaha.
