My dad got a call from her Dr and said he thinks she has ovarian cancer and she may have to have a hysterectomy. She is ONLY 19!!! They can save her eggs right and maybe she can have a surrogate or something?

How far in the process is she? The thought I may have cervical cancer (Biopsy showed I didnt') and I had a tumor in my breast (benign). DOctors scare the crap out of people before all the tests are in.
If all the tests are in and she does have cancer, you and your family are in my heart and prayers!
ETA: either way you are in my prayers. Its a terrible thing to have to go through this. I hope everything is OK.
I am not sure. She has surgery on the 2nd because they said her uterus was sitting wrong??? I guess...and then the DR called my dad yesterday. They were also concerned that my mom's insurance wouldn't cover it. Something about giving her a shot that costs $1500 a month. I don't know.

I'm so sorry your family is going through this. I'm sure they did all the preliminary tests if she is having a full surgery (although they called my biopsy surgery- and it took a whole 30 seconds). I will be praying for your family

I am saying lots of prayers--One of my best friends just went through this--she just finished her last chemo treatment, and she is doing fine. I am praying your sister won't have to go through any of this!
