Peter Jackson (Lord of the Rings) is to direct. They hope to have a screenplay written by early next year and to release by autumn 2007!

Wowie! I just finished that book last night and was thinking what a good movie it would be. Reading her description of heaven made me think of the movie 'What Dreams may come' with Robin Williams.....I wonder if it would be similarly depicted.

That was an amazing book. I read a lot of it to my students and they ate it up.

I loved that book...I read it in like a day and a half 2 summer ago! It was so well written but mad me feel icky when the girl was raped..don't even want to think about it!

Well, that will be another movie where I leave the theater red eyed and poofy faced from crying so much! I love the book!
