Things are moving along! Status report for early June bride

They have to be, the wedding is only two months away! This is everything that's happened in the last week. Probably some more stuff too, it's just slipped my mind.

Flowergirl dress--check
Youngest bridesmaid's dress--check
My veil--ordered! (finally, yay!)
Flowergirl basket--check
Ringbearer pillow--check
'Here comes the Bride' banner for older boys--check
votive holders for tables--check (and they're really pretty, pale yellow frosted ones. So cheap I wish I bought more!)
Foam letters for door monogram 'wreaths'--check
Last haircut and highlight appointment two weeks before wedding--check
Second to last haircut and color to make 'base' for wedding hair--check
wedding rings--tonight! (hopefully)
Tasting and menu choice--Sunday
Invitations finished & mailed--tomorrow (better be!)

Still to come? Lots of stuff. Dress fittngs, when dress arrives--it's on schedule, I only had seven months to plan so the dress is going to be cutting it close, but it will be here, and shouldn't need extensive alterations, as the sample fit well and I ordered a hollow-to-hem. Meeting with baker for cupcakes and secret talk for groom's cake. It's been very hard with my FH's schedule to get him there, and he needs to taste the cakes, especially since I want his favorite for the grooms' Giants-themed cake. Hair and makeup trials, but I was putting that off until I got my hair done, which I did on Wednesday. I need to find a local florist to make my mom's corsage, the bouts, and the youngest girls' hair wreaths, but hopefully will do that this weekend. Need to order the older girls' tiaras, but I may do that today. Need to go to IKEA to check out vases and candles. Need to decide on vases and the wish bowl and buy or order them, need to buy votive candles. Need to make my final paper order for programs, wish bowl cards, and petal cones. Need to make petal cones, need to make programs. Need to buy ribbons for programs, bouquets, and other items, but that's not a hardship, I love shopping for ribbon. I need to fix up the flowergirl basket with ribbon and fake flowers. Need to make wreath monograms for doors, but that should be easy, I'm only wrapping them in moss and attaching a few silk flowers--the hard part was getting the letters at a reasonable cost. The guy who sold them to me on eBay was nice, but rarely got back to me! I probably still need to get cake plates, cupcake towers, maybe servers, and boxes for people to take cupcakes and cake slices home (if there's any left). We still need to put together the chuppah, as we're not having the big freestanding kind, but the kind that's carried down the aisle and held by our siblings. Still need to shop for a suit for FH. Still need to make lots of paper flowers for the ceremony, although I'm wondering at this point if I should just order more real flowers! The paper ones are lovely, and I thought people could take them home as keepsakes, but I just don't have the time, I think There's lots, and lots of stuff still to do, and people wonder why I'm stressed!

Help me Obi wan! You're my only hope.

Oh, thanks! I went for a run after posting that and thought of many other things that need to be done. Like, choosing music for the ceremony AND reception, taking some dance lessons, getting a rehearsal dress and honeymoon clothes, finalizing the ceremony, and writing the program...eek! there's more stuff too. It's freakin' endless. Why didn't we elope???

Because it's going to be wonderful in the end, that's why.
