thinking of switching to Verizon wireless...feedback?

we have nextel and are looking to maybe do a family plan to save some $$....anyone got feedback? customer service? rate plans? signal strength??

all cell phone companies stink, but IMO verizon is the least evil with the most coverage in the nyc metro area...

I have them and have no complaints. My Fh just switched over to it as well and we are doing the Family Plan. So far so good.

I have Verizon Wireless and it is the best cell service I have had. I get good reception and the price is the same as evryone else.

Love Verizon! I have never had a problem with service, and I get a signal everywhere--Very important b/c I am always traveling and depend on it!

FH and I have Verizon and the family plan.
We've travelled all over and never had any problems here in NY or away from home.
Service is good. We've found customer service to be a little lacking, but hey, you can't have everything!

Verizon is by far the best plan out there.
I have Verizon, DH has Nextel- I can NEVER get a hold of him, his reception stinks.
In the emergencies we had, my service was the only one working out of everyone I work w/ too- 9/11 and blackout- I'll never have a different service

I've got Verizon too and I seem to get a signal everywhere. They are the best I've used. I have a Nextel for work and their two-way radio works well, but the cell phone is the worst!

I had Verizon Wireless, and while the reception was great, the service people I dealt with S*CKED. They changed our plan twice without telling us, and we changed it back one week, only having it changed back to the way THEY wanted it the next. After a year and a half of problems, we switched to another company.
