anyone ever have a problem with a vendor constantly calling you to make an appointment saying that you asked for information meanwhile you didnt? this one place keeps calling me and calling me and calling me and now sending emails. i never asked for any information or anything at all from them. i haven't called them back only because i thought they would get the message that i dont want to use them because i have someone already, but they keep calling me. its been like 2 months maybe more that i keep getting messages from them. i dont wanna call them because they just really annoyed me now and i dont want to email them. ahh its so aggravating!! sorry just had to vent to someone. :)

When you book your CH or if you attend a Bridal Showcase, the CH sends out a 'Leads List' to all vendors. The vendors then call the prospective Bride and harasses them.
I asked my CH to take me off of any lists they have, you should call yours to tell them that youdo not wish to be contacted by any vendors.

i dont know if my rehersal place does that though. they have a few vendors they recommend but this place isnt one of them...would that matter do you think?

this happened to me after i checked out david's bridal when i was first looking for dresses. their vendors kept calling me as well as companies calling to let me know i won crap. i would ignore their messages on my machine, but eventually i picked up the phone and told them to take me off their list and let them know very clearly that i was not interested. if i were you i would just call/email them back and tell them to take you off teir calling list. good luck!

I keep getting bombarded with calls and e-mails from these two places (one is a florist and one is a photographer) saying that I had called them requesting information and they are calling me back. I never called them. Everyday I get a message and an e-mail from them. They even have my cell phone number. When I ignore the house phone or they get my machine, my cell starts ringing right after. I'm not sure where I put that number down.

yes its happened to me ALOT! first off, even though we looked at the sandcastle, i just did it for Dh's sake to shut him up. So now the sandcastle wants $156 for a Sat night in July! I'm like ur kidding right! So yes, we booked my dream RH, Villa Lombardi's. . . . so EVERY WEEK up until my wedding [this went on for a year and 4 months, as long as i wad engaged] Sandcastle kept calling me 'we can get u a better deal' blah blah blah ..... then they actually called me 4 weeks ago, and I'm like I'M MARRIED! uh! Then several vendors kept calling me after I booked w/ different vendors, and the sames ones just kept calling! I finally got to a point where if I didn't know the #, i didn't pick up the phone!

Me either. That's why I just ignore the calls. We saw one of those calls coming in on Saturday and FH decided to pick it up. He kept asking where they were calling from and said he knew it was Florida from the caller i.d. and they said yes we are. That is all they would tell him and just kept asking for me. He said he was my fiance and they said that I had contacted them and they were returning my call. He started to get pissed and said if you are in Florida, how are you going to provide any type of business to a wedding in NY? They just kept asking for me and he kept asking what is your business? So they said, 'Our business is the business called talking to Susan.' Umm..what they heck does that mean!! Sorry, they just piss me off.
