This is from a guy trying to help his fiancee for the weddding

This is from a guy trying to help his fiancee for the weddding

As you can see, I don't post on this but desperate times call for desperate measures. So, we have 5 months left until we are getting married and I guess that is the point when things start to get a little hairy and the brain goes into over drive. My fiancee couldn't get to sleep last night and kept on tossing and turning and after about 20 min of asking her what was wrong she finally told me that she was feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and every other emotion. So, we talked about it and I asked her if there was anything that I could do to lessen the burden. Thinking that she was going to say 'no no no, it'll be fine' she said 'yes' ... as I took a huge gulp I said 'Ok what can I do?' She said that if I could help her get the transportation part of the wedding done that would be great. So, that is the deal, I have to do transportation... Now, I know some of you guys are experts and don't understand why now I'm getting a little freaked but I don't know where to start. I guess what I'm looking for is advice on who to get a quote from and what would be a good quote. This is what we need: a party bus and a classic car, just like everyone else and I guess we would need it for more than 3 hours. I hope that is enough information, if not let me know.

Hi! Take a deep breath! Where is your ceremony/reception? Are you planning on renting hourly or pick up drop off only? Also click on vendors up top and you can find all limo companies.

I went with Sir Oliver Limos...they were very professional.

I have also read many posts raving about Royalty Limos

Post what you are looking for on the Vendor board, or go through the Limo vendors on the site and start calling them.

Don't freak out! I thought getting the limos what the easiest part!

You should post on the vendor board what you need and they might be able to help you. I would also try coachman.com & royalty limos they have buses. There are vendors if you look under the vendors icon on top & call the companies or look at their webpage. Get some prices & ask how long they give you for that price & how much it is for overtime. I think that is a good start--Also ask what is included in the package (gratutities etc). Once you get some prices then we can tell u what is good & what is bad. I hope this helps--good luck!

Im also looking into getting a party bus. Did you want a krystal coach bus which fits about 25 people, or do you want a really big one that fits about 40 people? If your looking for the smaller one, they range from $850-$950. If your looking at the bigger one, that should range between $950-$1200. Let me know if I can be further assistance to you.

I'm using Sir Oliver in Sayville also and they're great - very helpful and the prices aren't too crazy either

Getting the limos is fun! You get to check out all the older cars and fancy limos. We booked with Cruise Control and are very happy with them so far.

Most of the packages are for 3 - 3.5 hours but if you want a party bus for the entire day or evening, it will run into more expense. Definitely check out the vendors list and call around. Most limo companies have showcase nights during the week. Cruise Control's is tonight, I believe.

Try contacting Ultimate Class. They are one of the vendors advertised on the vendor board. They have a great party bus - we opted not to go with it because it was too big, but it was really nice inside and very well kept. We were impressed with the company and heard good things about them, so we booked a rolls and a regular stretch limo with them.

Good luck and feel free to ask us other questions if you need to. That is great of you to be trying to take some of the burden off of your fiancee!

I used Ultimate Class and got the 32 passenger for just 12 adults & 2 children. It was great. There were people walking around, dancing in the aisle and overall just relaxed and having a good time. The Service was supurb from them also.

I am using Royalty in Franklin Square. They gave me a great price and have a ton of classic cars to pick from. Good luck!

This is the best possible job she could have given you! Try Royalty. They are in Franklin Square and they have a huge garage filled with limos. You can go and look around, sit in the cars and find out which would suite you guys best.

It's good to see a guy on this board. My fiance has asked me if any men are on this or there is a grooms room, and I've told him no.

We are not using limos, but I wanted to let you know that I had my freakout moments about 3 weeks ago. The invitations had to go out, direction cards had to be made, there were family issues coming up, work was crazy, taxes had to be done, etc. It's good you offered to help. My fiance did the same, and we made a list of what still needed to be done. He took over certain things.

Just wanted to say I'm glad you're on the board and helping out. She'll appreciate it.

Definately check out Cruise Control- I went with another popular company since they had the car I wanted but I think they were the lowest quote and being registered with the BBB is a plus.
