This is from a guy trying to help his fiancee for the weddding

Original post by jcb710

As you can see, I don't post on this but desperate times call for desperate measures. So, we have 5 months left until we are getting married and I guess that is the point when things start to get a little hairy and the brain goes into over drive. My fiancee couldn't get to sleep last night and kept on tossing and turning and after about 20 min of asking her what was wrong she finally told me that she was feeling overwhelmed, stressed, anxious and every other emotion. So, we talked about it and I asked her if there was anything that I could do to lessen the burden. Thinking that she was going to say 'no no no, it'll be fine' she said 'yes' ... as I took a huge gulp I said 'Ok what can I do?' She said that if I could help her get the transportation part of the wedding done that would be great. So, that is the deal, I have to do transportation... Now, I know some of you guys are experts and don't understand why now I'm getting a little freaked but I don't know where to start. I guess what I'm looking for is advice on who to get a quote from and what would be a good quote. This is what we need: a party bus and a classic car, just like everyone else and I guess we would need it for more than 3 hours. I hope that is enough information, if not let me know.

Try Cruise Control and All Star Limousine company they are both great and they have good prices.

They are both vendors on this website so click on vendors and then click on Limos

I used Cruise Control Limos and I did get the party bus. The one that hold 22 people I think. They were very reasonable and nice. We are not getting a sep car for ourselves. We want to be with the Bridal Party. We used it for my sister's wedding and we all such a blast on the bus.

Hey, my fiancee just told me that she read my post ... I guess I'm found out ... so much for looking like a hero when booking transportation, lol.

Anyway, she told me to say thank you to everyone but I was going to do that without her saying so ... SO thanks for all your suggestions, you guys are very nice to take the time to respond back.

Hopefully we'll get something good ... if not SCREW YOU ALL ... , dude just kidding

This post made me laugh. I mean imagine if you're freaking about booking the limo, then I know you understand why your fiance couldn't sleep the other night.

It's great of you to offer her to help. I agree with the other posts, try the vendor board. Oh, I'm booked with Royalty. We live OOT so we never even saw the limos in person, we're just relying on the good reviews from LIW brides and grooms.
There was a thread on the BHB board about limo busses. I'm going to see if I can bump it for you.

Getting the limos is fun! You get to check out all the older cars and fancy limos. We booked with Cruise Control and are very happy with them so far.

Most of the packages are for 3 - 3.5 hours but if you want a party bus for the entire day or evening, it will run into more expense. Definitely check out the vendors list and call around. Most limo companies have showcase nights during the week. Cruise Control's is tonight, I believe.

We booked Cruise Control for our March wedding and they were FANTASTIC. Very professional and easy to get along with. We liked them. They work with you, and you tell them what you need. Most quotes I received for 6 hours were between $1500 to $2500 (depending on what you want). I would call a few places, get some quotes, and compare.

Can I just say - You seem very sweet and understanding! Very few brides go through the process without feeling overwhelmed and stressed out at some point or another, and having your husband to be offer to help is a sign of being a good partner. Just keep being there for her - believe me, my husband's willingness to do whatever we had to do to make it work for us was my saving grace during the engagement. Good luck!!
