Ok we went to register at a 2nd place on saturday, we went to crate and barrel...I have to give him credit though bc he picked out alot of the things and they are great and coordinated everything together. BUT he put a $1,000 day bed which is like a couch you put in the living room on our registry. I started cracking up and saying no we dont put furniture on the registry and he questioned me why not lol. He said he doesn't care, this will be an item for either his mom or aunt to buy for him and yes they do spoil him that much. He said obviously ppl aren't gonna feel they have to spend it theyll spend whatever and ppl know big items are usually for the parents, but hes still out of his mind lol.
Most of our items are very fairly priced, its a wide range with MANY MANY MANY things $100 and under and then just a few higher priced items...i did stop him before he put on a whole living room set lol
here is the day bed, he thought it was the most comfortable thing and it actually was.

i was going to say - my sisters already told me we should register for the plasma tv we want... so they could chip in and buy it for us! Pretty nice gift. Close family does that - I have 3 sisters and we always chip in with my mom and get like a really nice gift so i won't be surprised if you get it.
yeah fh wanted to get a new tv for himself and his mom said uhmmm put it on your registry and someone might just buy it for you, but sounded more like she was hinting that he should put it on the registry bc she might get it for him lol
definitely! my sister's MIL bought them their HUGE 60 inch tv for their wedding... it was like $3k. of course like 8 years later they had to upgrade to a 50 inch plasma they could mount on the wall
where would you get the tv from? I suggested this to fh but i'm not sure if a place like best buy has a registry...

Around 1:30 ish and then we were there until about 2:30 - 3:00. We ended up not registrying because FH decided he was starving and couldn't concnetrate
i think we got there about 3:30-4pm

thats so funny...we did get there earlier and parked right in front of crate and barrel but we went to the sneaker store first and then a few other places
We did the opposite we did C&B first and then a few other stores. HE could concentrate on clothes but not home goods. Though he did look at a chair and half for his office and then decided he needs one that pulls out!

LOL, im crazy like that too. We registered at Crate and Barrel and Im putting their black canopy bed on my registry I reaaaaaaaly want it, its like $1300 but who knows maybe my bridal party or family will all chip in for it. ANd if know one does...10% off that much is a good deal!

Some people do go in on gifts as a group though, so I think it is okay to register for a very expensive item or two. I know sometimes me, my mom and sister in law will go in on a gift together and spend a few hundred combined Plus some stores have that policy where if something is unpurchased on your registry, you get a discounted price if you want to buy it yourself.

Thats awesome. He sounds as crazy with that scanner as my FH was. YOu will be suprised like other said because I know my bridal party as well as my FHs are looking to chip in and get something around $1000 per BP.

We are doing the same thing....we are putting furniture and like a new bed frame as well. Everything that is on your registry is discounted if its not purchased, so why not put it on there anyways. I figure whatever someone doesn't purchase for me I will go and get it and then get the discount as well. We all need furniture and stuff for our houses once we get married....so scan away!!!

So i know we will get it lol but i thought he would just ask for it lol...our registry wasnt up until 2:30 this afternoon bc they had to fix a mess up and his mom emailed me this morning to say she cant find our registry and she wanted to look at the daybed FH wanted

is he an only child?? Mine is such a mama's boy too... and i always wonder if it's because he's an only child. She is cool but says i'll be the same with my boy - idk about that!
