LeeLee, please don't let a little negativity by a few ruin the positive experiences you have with the majority.

This place is a little microcosim of the world and there will always be negativity and hostility. If you really do leave, you will be missed.

LeeLee - I can understand why you would feel like sometimes the negativity is too much - at times I agree - but there are so many good people, don't they and their positive energy outweigh the bad $hit??? I totally respect you and your decision, but I will MISS you HORRIBLY!!!

LeeLee I understand your aggravation but you shouldn't leave b/c of others comments. Do what I do: IGNORE the posts that annoy you. I read once, skim if I don't want to continue, I skip it and ignore it when it makes page 1 again. Sometimes I felt like posts with alot of drama would bother me. And I wasn't even involved!! So I stop reading now. Negativity brings me down. I don't need it or want to see it.

Although there are a few (very loud) negative people here who live for drama, the rest of us are here to help others and you are a part of that. We need the mature women here to set an example. aww Chief, I don't really know you but i'm sad to see you're leaving. But on the other hand, i completely understand. thank God i'm not completely involved in this 'community' or i would have left by now too. it just seems like some people love to cause drama, and others love to keep it going. maybe they don't have interesting real lives or something? and it's hard to just ignore it cuz 10 threads pop up off of one thing and ppl will keep 'em going as long as they can for the helluvit until LIW finally realizes and closes them. oh well, what can ya do. i hope you still drop by on the threads that actually mean something on this board

Girls--thank you for all the kind words.
I need to step back a little bit and I think this is the only way possible.
When my temper flares up-I know I need to take a break. I'll still be around lurking with an occasional post...
I also need to clarify....THIS IS NOT BASED UPON ANY PARTICULAR EVENT, POSTER, ETC. As I originally stated, I've been toying with this idea for a while. So, please-I ask that no one misinterprets this as something they did.
I'd like to just ask of everyone to think about the other person's feeling before you speak, type. You never know what the consequences will be or how it may hurt someone.
