FH and I realized last week that there is just no way we will get approved for the mortgage we need until i graduate (december)...so we started looking into apartments in Hudson County (NJ...FH is a cop...so he has to stay there, or close to it)....So we found a few that we really but.... The rent is about $1940-$2000 p/m Then for 2 cars to park its about $200-280 p/m Then to have a DOG there...$50 p/m Utilities $100 p/m....
This is costing just as much as a f'in mortgage!!!!! If we can afford this...we can afford a house!!! I *hate* the banks!!!
It's so stupid...I'm making OK money now, but it will be SO much better when i graduate...it's only a few months away..then boards...then wedding. I'm hoping to be settled somewhere BEFORE my boards....so i have one less thing to worry about.....
did i mention i hate this and i'm miserable!?!?!?

I've been here (NJ) since friday night....busy weekend...but I'm thinking I will call him sometime this week to see if he has any better news then i've gotten so far....thank you!!!!

Definetly give him a call. There might be something he can do. He has theoption of using all different types of loans b/c he is a broker not a bank

Our credit is excellent.....both of us.....it's the fact that he just started a new job in January....I am a FT student, PT employee.....who will be starting a new job in december...they need to see that he has longevity at his job and that i'm making what i'm contracted to make.....it's such a process...hate it hate it hate it!

yeah...who knew??? I've been at my current job for over 5 years...he was at his last job for over 7....i might not make amazing $$, but i have savings....and stock...and they are like I DONT CARE...SHOW ME A PAYCHECK WITH A MILLION $$ ON IT!! ahhhhhhhh i'm gonna live in my wedding gown in my carrrrrrrrrrrrr
