for your best friend's wedding, how much $ would as a gift? My fiance is unable to attend b/c he's at the Olympics but should I still give as if he will be there? I can't decide whether to give $200 or $400 (if he did come).

I say give what you can afford. If you can afford the 400 then Id say go with that since your FH was invited but couldnt attend. The etiquette I think is to send a gift if you were invited, even if you cant attend.

i woudl give what you can afford. she's your best friend, so I would do whatever you're comfrotable with. if you're in the BP as well, I would think the $200.00 would be a nice gift considering you may have done other things for the shower, bachelorette, etc.

I think $200 0r $250 are very appropriate. I agree with the poster before, I'm sure you have spent a lot on the other events.

I would give 400 even if DH couldnt go, of course that is if I could afford it.
