So my friend and I went to Jones Beach today...section 6 and we saw a couple taking engagment pics and doing a little video. They looked sooo cute. Some of the things the photographer made them do were a little corny and I know FOR SURE my FH would have never done them!!!! I give her FH a lot of credit!

i'm sure you aren't trying to insult anyone or hurt their feelings, but i'd watch what ya say....you never know if that was one of our girls......yeah photogs make you do weird things sometimes....but ya can't help it. Photog with Video sounds like a Thomas Paul bride.....he does both at the e-shoots........JMO![]()

BTW - i dont think saying that some stuff was corney - its not necessarily a BAD thing... we all did corney stuff when we were taking ours - frankly its all corney because its not how we would typically act or pose.

totally agree! like for our engagement pics. . .there is this cheesy one where FH is kissing my neck and we were laughing about it the whole time i was SO SO SO surprised that he did it. . . bc he complained the whole time about even TAKING the pics!
what is really annoying is that people focused on the one thing about some corney pictures and not on the fact that it was really cool to see someone taking pictures AND doing a video.
did i actually just start drama??? i've never done that before..... anna...i am very sorry...i hope you understand what i was trying to say.....i *know* you didn't and wouldn't say anything hurtful to anyone...actually you've posted on a million of my posts and have been very helpful :)

honestly - TOO bad if people are sensitive - then dont come on a public forum if you are going to get your feelings hurt !

I think she was just pointing out how ppl do get but agrees with you, i did the same recently.
Its funny i just started reading bergdorf blondes on the train ride home and it said something we should all remember 'say what you mean, mean what you say, just dont be mean about it'

i dont think youre starting drama and i understand how you meant it...the other day a thread was posted and i said bc careful what you say you dont want to hurt someones feelings...i think ppl can be honest without being hurtful and i think sometimes ppl are too sensitive but i only said bc i know how other threads turned out and just was trying to avoid drama, which is what im sure you were doing

I know she wasnt trying to do that - she was JUST pointing out - thats fine - unfortunetly people dont realize that by pointing out that someones feelings MAY get hurt that in itself starts the drama and hurts someones feelings - its a losing battle
i just had to say that - not because of this post JUST BECAUSE! im glad i got it out!!! BTW love that quote its SOOOO true!
