This Scares me...

sorry to be a downer but..

I just found out that a girl I graduated HS with passed away from cancer. I knew this girl, while we weren't 'friends' she was very nice - this is so sad... and SCARY 28 years old and she died of cancer she had a whole life ahead of her

it really makes you realize that you need to live life to the fullest!

That is so upsetting Sorry to hear this.

That is so scary.

A girl I went to HS with has Leukemia.


You always think we are too young to have to deal with this kind of stuff, and it is so upsetting when we find out we aren't.

yea i think it was a mosquito! they didn't know what happened..it led to some kind of nasty infection..it was terrible..

we also lost a nother classmate right after HS she had a brain anurism

no one should die young!

aw thats awful jess...makes me want to cry to leave a wife and unborn child behind..its seriously like loosing your fh (unimaginable..i don't know if i could go on)..and yes for a parent to bury a child my mother said is the worst death of all..my uncle died in a scuba diving accident when he was 35..and my grandfather..it was soo sad to see him like that..

That's awful, it really is the worst thing. I can't even imagine what they go through when that happens. Although on a lighter note, we were at a bbq with FH's friends wife, baby and FH's friend that passed away's parents and they were so excited to have a grandchild from their son.

OMG that's awful..all those stories are..
i went to school with the firefighter who died a few months ago.. he fell while trying to save others... and it was all because of careless smoking ( i smoke so im not putting anyone down for that.. i just feel you really have to be responsible) he was also FHs cousin... 23years old ... even though i hadn't seen him in years it really got to me. I just remember being at the wake and seeing how many people were there.. i remember hugging his mom and by the time i had gotten up there i couldn't hold back the tears and his mom hugged me like she was comforting me... i mean it was awful. It really does make you think about a lot!!

I cant even imagine what a parent must feel to out live their child

but that is nice to hear that they have a grandchild!!

yea .. seeing a parent bury a child is just so awful..but knowing that thier son will live on through his child must give them some comfort

I too had a neighbor who does a few summer ago from a bug bite...she was 18 years old...I try to remind myself when I get crazy abot things that are trivial that they dont matter...

It is a horrible feeling for family and friends when you lose somebody young. Parents are never the same once they lose a child. My cousin was killed in a car accident 4 years ago and she was only 28. It is a pain that never goes a way, you just learn to live with it. She would have been my MOH at my wedding this Friday :( She lived by the saying 'live each day as if it is your last' and she totally did!!

I am so sorry for your loss! thats a great saying and im glad she lived by it! She will be there at your wedding - dont forget that!
