This sounds so selfish of me but....

my shower invitations went out (I know because someone slipped and told me, long story) but...I am thinking if the invitations went out my shower must be soon and no one has purchased my dishes, silverware, cups or any of the necessities....

stop worrying! invites usually go out like a month or sometimes 2 months before the shower... so people still have time... its not like its this weekend AND... a lot of times, if people know theres a registry, they wait till last minute to shop cause they know they can just go into the store and grab something off the registry.... i'm sure you'll be fine

Don't worry! My invites went out a month ago and only a handful of things have been purchased so far. But my shower is not for another 3 weeks, and I know that most of the stuff will be bought the week before...people leave stuff til the last minute!!
