This sux

So I had a photographer, and when I read some bad reviews I cancelled, thank God I get a full refund, then last week I drove all the way to White Plains from Brooklyn, getting lost along the way, to meet another photographer and decided to use him but I haven't heard anything since, so my planner calls him this morning and he has the nerve to tell her he's not available for my date, she ended up hanging the phone up on him, which I probably would have done myself. Now with 7 months to go, I have to find a new photographer.

I'm so sorry. That's really messed up. Why did he meet with you if he wasn't available for your date? Every photog that I called, the first question was 'what is your date' and then they checked if it was available. He wasted your time and I would be mad. I have a couple of really good photogs I met with that did amazing work and great prices. They work independently so they might be available for your date. FM if you would like more info.

I understand completely. I was booked with a photographer from NYC and canceled them too. I came on here and booked with Thomas Paul b/c LIW ladies suggested him. He is awesome!

I work in Westchester, who did you meet with? Do you want Westchester vendors? or Doesn't matter?

I was using Bella Pictures at first, then I thought Ryan Brenizer would have been it...I guess if I could travel to white Plains, I could travel to Westchester

i second that. I met with some of the very popular ones on here and by FAR twelfth night was my favorite.

try them. they have a few photographers (which i didnt want) but they are all close knit and comfortable and very similiar in style.

aww! That stinks - I'm so sorry! Good luck finding a new photographer. You definitely made the right decision canceling the first one if you weren't comfortable.
