Wedding Day Disasters

Not even going to lie, my heart races, and my blood pressure goes up reading this thread.

hahaha i saw it too but didnt read it bc im afraid to look.

little things i dont mind and you can't expect everything to go perfect just have to go with it...and small things that nobody but you will notice can't stress about but other things oh dont even wanna know right now

i wont read it, just like i try not to think of rain...i am a big believer in the mind being a powerful force that can do things both good and bad if you think about it

but i have a confession to make - i have had major anxiety since i read it. . . and i mean MAJOR anxiety. . .i can't stop thinking about all the things that could go wrong and i really hope this feeling goes away soon!

the ONLY thing that i seriously dont want to happen is rain..everything else i can deal with.. i just reallly really really dont want it to rain!!!!

the post isnt to scary cause pretty much everyone said in the end all of the things that happened to them didnt matter to them bc they married the man of their dreams and they had a great time anyway

Girls....Honestly....I am a person who at big parties, at things that need a lot of planning, and stuff of that sort freaks out!!!! I like to stay on a time schedule, keep on as planned, and know what will happen and be in control.

Reading that I was like OMG look at these lists of what went wrong on their days. Why are we paying so many people so much money if this many of them go and f up anyways!!!! Reading that thread though, it actually gave me a lil sense of relief actually!!!!! Weird as it may sound, but see if you can follow me.

Growing up we all have these visions of fairy tales. We're gonna grow up get swept off our feet by mr. right, fall in love, move into a house with a white picket fence, have everything we need, and live happily ever after. Think about it. The majority of things in life don't work out to be PERFECT. Name a party or even BBQ you hosted where something didn't go wrong, missing, someone's feelings were hurt, someone was late and blah blah blah. Why would your wedding day be any different??? (oh i hope this isn't sounding pessimisstic cause I'm really far from it).

Reading that thread, I rather realized (and from talking to a friend - treant425 - that just got married), that no matter what happens that day, what will be will be. The majority of the things on that list those brides couldn't have changed if they tried. If someone is going to be late, you calling and confirming 20 times won't change it. The traffic will still be there, an unexpected accident may happen, and the weather is going to be whatever it wants to be. I just say when you read that thread look at how many of those brides have let go of it. (some have bitterness towards certain people or circumstances, but the majority have none) I mean the bride who's cake fell on the floor...asked her how she would react to that before the wedding and I guarentee the way she did act would never have been her response.

What I am learning: Plan what you can, stay as organzied as you can be, but at some point let go and laugh it all off cause you're getting married.

(sorry so long just thought i'd show the positive spin i took out of that)
