say 2000-3000 ? or more in the 4 or 5's

2-3k is good for photo. You can find SOME vendors though for under 2k but most you will see starting price usually around 2k. I know some girls on here said they found photographers for lets say $1500-1800.

I agree though...I did really love TP as well as his photos... I have a few more photographers booked with appointments next week.... does anyone know much about:

...and should I expect the same ballpark pricing wise???

I don't know about Thomas Paul, I am using Duet for both photo and video and my package comes to $4800, that includes e- pics, 2 photographers, 1 videographer and they are all going to be there for 10 hours. You may want to check them out, their work was fantastic and I am picky!!!

I am so bummed.. i called Duet and they did not have my date available!!!! We are using Patken and we feel confident and satisfied and a few friends used them and loved them.

We booked with Dan Wagner...

We loved him. My favorite thing about our package is that you get your pics on CD and you can do whatever you want with them. You can print them yourself, make stuff on shutterfly or whatever- I was so happy about that.

Most places give you your pics on Disc. that was a requirement for us. TP did that as well.

Patken, although I like some of their work, there are just too many photgs there and you dont know which one you are going to get and I do not like

12th Night, I do not know much about them butwhat I have seen I have liked.

I was on a small budget and I got the most from TP. I wasn't looking for video or albums (I'm a graphic designer and planned on making them myself) and got married in January (I'm sure that helped pricewise) and the most important thing for me besides beautiful pictures and price was great proofs (I wanted the hi rez images on a cd or dvd).

I met with Dan Wagner, Martin Willard, 12th Night and Thomas Paul. All had comparable prices and absolutely beautiful albums and I don't think you could go wrong with any of them. Picturewise 12th Night and Thomas Paul were more of what I was looking for and both had great personalities to work with, but TP's package gave me what I needed and then some. His proofs alone were gorgeous without anything done to them. I originally had no intentions of having engagement pictures done, but it was included in the package (he does such a great job!) and that was a real bonus...we couldn't have been happier with our choice!

I hear Patken doesn't give you the high res disc until months after the wedding so that you purchase all the extra prints from them.

I didnt like Patken, they lied to me and they were alittle on the pricey side. I also heard somethings they did to brides that I know and didnt like what I heard.

12th Night I have heard of great things and only great.

Sherwood is

Silver Fox, I was going to met right after Thomas Paul but, never made it there cause I booked with him.

I met with Velvet Studios, they are very good but, just didnt connect with them on a personal level.
I met with Duet and loved everything about them but, Thomas Paul gave more and I just fell in love with him and his work.
Leli is the other photographer I meet with and he seemed nice but, .
