If you havent for financial reasons or other reasons - I understand but ask a family member, or friend of the family to videotape something with their own little camcorders!!! It reallly is truly beautfiul and pictures are not the same as seeing you and DH together dancing or walking out of your ceremony. I havent received my real video/dvd yet but my uncle videotaped about 45 minutes and i just wanted to cry, it was absoultely beautiful!
Just some FYI for the girls that are getting married this year :)

ITA!! we almost didn't get one, didn't feel it was necessary, but 3 weeks before our wedding, we booked one, and after seeing it, we're so glad we did.

I am not getting one because I am tapped out at this point. But I am having TWO of my professional friends with HiDef video cameras shoot the wedding from different angles & I will edit the raw footage myself!!

I am thinking of doing something like this. I can't edit, but I know people who can and I can get that done whenever - I just want to have the footage.

I dont want to offend anyone who may not be getting one but I agree...you do have your pictures but it really is the one thing you have left to watch and remember your day by. Im not even married yet and I cant wait to see our video lol
